Why not bring Xbox into it? They've only shown cinematics and no actual footage of their games. I can guarantee you that Halo and Hellblade won't look much better and that's if they look any better.

You mean people still think next gen will be 4k/60fps? It won't because developers will push for better visuals instead of framerate and you will end up with 4K/30fps again because better visuals sell better than better framerate to casuals and casuals make up the biggest part of console fanbases. Unfortunately, resolution isn't the only thing that affect visuals, so just because current pro consoles can be 4k/30fps already doesn't mean the next step is 4k/60fps.
Yes it deserves a second chance. Look at FFXIV. It got a second chance and it paid off when they remade the game from the ground up. Maybe Bioware can pull this off. I said maybe, but it's a big maybe, they're not Square-Enix, so the chances are they won't succeed.

It was necessary this gen because the CPU was pretty much garbage, but next gen, the Ryzen CPU won't be and it could easily last the entire gen.

They are. The Switch is the new hot thing right now that everyone wants, which is greatly helping it. When the PS5 and Scarlett comes out though, they will be the new hot things that everyone wants and it's definitely gonna make switch sales drop a lot.
You will have to use the Rockstar launcher to launch the game even if you buy it on Steam. Knowing that, I just bought it directly on launcher since you get special edition for the same price as normal edition, plus you get 2 free games of your choice from a selection.
I like the game. I stopped playing because far too many games came out soon after, but I will definitely go back to it soon, especially since they're making better. The current Ubisoft seems to want to fix things, this wouldn't have been the case a few years ago. This game will only get better imo.

The overhaul they're making right now for the 2.0 might save this game. I mean it did work for FF14, it could work for this (but it probably won't because EA and Bioware are behind it).

@badz149 8 millions for a home console is pretty good for Japan nowadays. As for the Switch, it's only doing so well in Japan because it's considered a portable console. If it was an actual home console like the PS4 and Xbox One (no portable mode), it wouldn't be doing nearly as well as it is right now and it would just sell at the same rate the PS4 did.
It's likely not 100% and just the game that works for Xbox One, meaning you can't play all 360 or OG Xbox games.
