This guy is talking out of his ass. The economy is not that great, but that's even more reason for Sony to stick with it's 10 year plan. To spend tens of millions right now on R&D for the PS4 when the PS3 is starting to take off doesn't make any sense at all. I hope this article doesn't get approved.
Wow, this is so good to hear. This will do wonders for PSP and PSN sales. Mark 2009 as the year Sony has finally gotten on the ball. Took them long enough, but they're finally doing what they should have done years ago.

I'm not making up the "control problem". It's a hard fact that the controls have a weighted, delayed feel that turned many gameers off, including myself. I bought the game, played it for a couple months, and sold it. If you don't believe me my id here is my psn id also, so look it up punks.

KZ2 failed because of a horrible controls system. Word spread within hours of release like wildfire and word of mouth ultimately killed it. If it weren't for KZ2's crappy controls the game would have sold much more.
So far U2's mp is superb as well as it's single player will be, THAT will give it much higher success than KZ2.

Until there is another site that gives us pre-order numbers vgchartz is the only thing we've got. People always bash vgchartz, but in that bashing they never attempt to give a more reputable site for information.

Not to sound incredibly heartless, but for the people who actually fall for this crap they deserve it.
Well it's gained 60,000 preorders the week before last, and 60,000 more this last week. It's building a good head of steam, and hopefully Sony's recent advertising will give it good legs. Also, there are going to be 3 solid months of sales with Oct, Nov and Dec.
Then you also have to remember this is not including EU numbers which I imagine will also be huge.

The split pic where he's lifting the car frame is the best to compare. To me, the devs did an excellent job ensuring an even looking game on BOTH consoles. BTW, I thought the game was refreshing and Jack Black kicks ass.
HHG, if a gamer wants a more realistic FPS and has to choose between MW2 and BF:BC2, than the obvious choice would be BF:BC2. MW2 went way over the top in the gimmick department with spawn grenades, automated turrets, throwing knives, dual wielding, silenced shotties, rewarding noobs w/death streaks, and cool-aid blood splatter. For these reasons I will not be buying MW2.
With your BF:BC2 video, I'm seriously considering picking that up.

The video at IGN.com in HD truly shows the graphical awesomeness of the game. The only thing that will ruin the game though are the vehicles and helicopters. That's one of the reasons people like COD4 and MW2-no vehicles.
Maybe they could put a horde mode in the game with the FPS aspect.

What MS and it's crap talking minions don't realize is that their strategy of putting down the PS3 to make the 360 look better is not working. It just makes them look stupid and I'm starting to question if they just do it for attention like a 12 year old playground bully.
With great games like KZ2, Uncharted 2, and God of War 3 alot of former PS3-bashing writers are starting to praise the PS3. Unfortunately there are a select few that still make themselves look like douches.
