Dorron, I agree with you, but Atlus is known for small releases. As a smaller developer they tend to be more cautious. It's hard to find a copy here at stores in the US as it is. However, they have underestimated the HUGE success this game has become.
I'm borrowing my brothers copy at the moment and playing this game in between my MW2 sessions. It is hard, but soooo rewarding at the same time. The bosses are epic creations and something you won't soon forget like most run of the mill games. When this comes out as a Greatest Hit I will definately be picking up my own copy. At the Greatest Hit price I feel like I'm almost stealing it, it's that good.
Then you have an awesome developer in Atlus that is showing good communit...
I'm sure it would be higher but remember SE only stocked 1.8m copies in Japan, so if there were more available I'm sure the sales would be much higher. I'm sure there are still people clamoring to get their hands on a copy.
There's never been a great game based on a movie, just mediocre at best. It's because the developement time for a good game takes 2-3 years at least. With movie games they have to shorten the production time to around 1 year, so the game ALWAYS suffers in some way.
From way back to E.T. on the Atari to Avatar on the current gen systems I can't think of 1 movie game where I can say, "Wow, that game was awesome!"
Especially with the recent release of Sodium there's alot of people like myself going back to HOME after not going there for a long time. I went in the InFamous and Sodium spaces and both were packed, so to say nobody has it installed anymore is a joke.
GOW 3 is going to be great no doubt. I have the Dante's Inferno demo and I LOVE IT! The storytelling and gameplay is epic. Who really cares if it's a GOW clone? Shouldn't we PS3 owners be happy to own both?
As for Bayonetta, I played the demo and it was meh imo, I just don't get the appeal of it. Sometimes demos do a bad job of representing a game so maybe that was it, but as of right now I don't know what there is to like about it. I also don't get why 360 fans defend th...
The DarkTower is a book series from Stephen King. Awesome series and I recommend it wholeheartedly to everyone. And the 805 is simply my area code.
Without these 2 big dogs on board I really don't see this being a must own.

I've already gotten many hours of enjoyment out of the game.
It's looking more and more plausible that the PS3 will outsell the 360 this gen. With FFXIII, GOW3 and GT5 being the system sellers that they are next year will be huge for Sony.
Sony and SE better restock those shelves ASAP so they don't lose business. Can you imagine FFXIII sales when it releases worldwide?!? 10 million lifetime seller easy for the PS3 alone.
Btw, it's kinda wierd how this is a multiplat game, but nobody talks about 360 sales. Do you guys think 360 sales for this game will tank?

Yeah, I remember the first thing after buying the game was reading the manual on the way home. And not so much to learn the buttons, but to enjoy the artwork and get hyped up. Ahh, the good ole days.
Nice flashback. Btw, the worst manual of all time is definately Modern Warfare 2. That thing is ridiculous, but I guess for that game no manual is needed.

Yup SSHD is a work of art imo. For the first couple months after I bought it, I was addicted to it. Everyone I've told to buy it has the same reaction to it too.
First off, the vast majority here are console gamers and don't give a rat's butt about PC gamers. Besides, if anybody's laughing it's the PS3 owners laughing at others who don't get to play GOW3.
On topic, GOW3 runs at native 720p and 60fps. I can't see the 360 doing this without giving something up (graphics, sound, multiple discs, etc) in return.
