Xiphos is correct, you need a PS3 dev kit to make dynamic themes.
@Alpha-Male22, Not every game needs a Kevin Butler commercial. It's definitely a tough one to market, but I'm sure there are analysts that figure this stuff out. The E3 trailer is what got me hooked, and I'm sure it could do the same with others. Heck, even run the trailer at movie theaters.
@RememberThe357, why would you even bring up nudity or sex? That's the furthest from what this game is about. Don't forget, this is a Mature title and is not intended for kids anyway.
Only critically, not monetarily...yet. There was no doubt that QD had what it takes to make a good game, it's up to Sony to market it right.
Wow, the balls really starting to roll now.
What idiots buy games before looking at gameplay/reviews? If they're that dumb they're going to get burned eventually.
.
Why does Heavy Rain have 2 scores (9.5/8.5)?
I believe ammo had weight in Fallout 3 as well. Very miniscule, but I think it did.
Haha, no I don't believe many played Indigo Prophecy. I've never even heard of it until HR started being talked about. I do believe however HR is redefining and taking interactive games to the next level like Uncharted took platforming games like Tomb Raider to that next level and redefined the genre.
Again though, GOW3 is a different art style, so it's not fair to compare. It's like comparing Van Gogh and Da Vinci paintings. Both are unique art styles, but both masterpieces in their own rights.
Lol, that is awesome. It reminds me more of Spaceballs than Aliens though. It doesn't really have that scary look to it.
Those screenshots in the article don't do this game justice. I have the demo and the graphics are seriously the best I've ever seen on a console. And this takes nothing away from Uncharted 2, because imo these two games have different art styles. HR is more realistic, while U2 is more artistic in a cartoonish sort of way (if that came out right).
Well if the demo is any representation of the full game there is no doubt in my mind that this game will get many 9/10 -10/10 scores. Everything from the lighting to the gritty environment sets the stage for an awesome experience. If you can't tell, I loved it. Day one buy for me.
Since when is selling 25,000/month pathetic? I wish I could come up with something that would sell 25,000/month. Just because they are being outsold by the competition doesn't mean they should pull out you idiot.
I would pick either:
1. Drew Brees
2. Chris Johnson
3. Peyton Manning
Honorable Mention: Brett Favre, cause he probably won't play next year.
God of War...there is no substitute!
I guess there was a reason these chapters were left out, still, the dlc is a choice and THAT doesn't detract from my great experience with the game.
If this gets approved N4G has some serious issues.
Is this one of those "If you can't beat em', join em'" situations?
The devs haven't made any money on dynamic themes because so far the majority have sucked ass fumes. If they started to time dynamic themes and avatars with the release of the games much profit can be made off of hype alone. I would have spent alot of money on Uncharted dynamic themes and avatars had they been available, but sadly they weren't.
Come on now, it's only a slightly animated background and icons. How much work would it require an expert animator/designer to do for ...
