They don't pm EVER for 1 reason: It takes away the guessing when someone claiming to be a Sony rep is actually a scammer trying to get personal info. This is why Sony only sends emails.
And the amount of people that would use VGChartz as a sales reference is worse.
Also, when I bought the game, I went to t Toys R Us and they were out. I got the last 2 copies from K Mart. And that was a week ago. I imagine the sold amount vs the ship amount isn't that far off.
@ Dan Solo, go ahead and get it. Co-op is a blast, so make sure you have a partner. The game also gets tough starting in Act II, and you WILL need help lol.
Like Jobesy said, the game save bug is the worst and will get patched up soon. Other than that, it's a great game.
Wizziokid, people do understand this. What pisses people off is when a dev says "the game will be even across all platforms" or "it will run the same across the board". everyone knows thats pr bullshit, and that the pc will be the superior version, but it took Dice a long time to admit that.

I bought the game last Friday and downloaded the patch on ps3. Its been smooth sailing for me. I hope this new patch doesn't mess that up.

2 things Sony needs to incorporate:
1. Give us the option to hide our online status. If i'm on Netflix, I don't want to be contacted. Most people nowadays extend that courtesy, but still...
2. My previous downloads in the PSN store needs to be organized. I don't want to scroll through 200 items to find the item I need to redownload.

That's one thing I never understood. How can one person have almost a bug free experience while another will be plagued with bugs?
I had a bug free experience with Fallout 3, while for others bugs rendered the game unplayable. So far, I've only had 1 bug in Dead Island, and it was very minor. I hope I don't get any major ones.
Get it! It's tons of fun. I have only come across 1 bug, and i'm rank 16 or so. You'll enjoy it. I'm playing the PS3 version with the patch if that makes a difference.
From what I read other places people at concerned about the build quality. I guess they aren't happy unless they were made from steel. Then they'd complain about the weight. I'll judge when I get mine, still waiting on Amazon to deliver them.
The sound quality seems to be good though, which is what really matters.

Nah, they shouldn't. This way we know they are at least a consistently crappy company. They should be banned from Metacritic though.
@ Ultraplayerxp, this headset is not bluetooth, so it won't pair up with a phone. You can use it with a pc though. Just put in the dongle and you're good to go.
So far i'm really enjoying mine, it's my first gaming headset and it's great for an immersive experience.
