Tbh, Square's fall started with X-2, not VIII.
For me, MM > OOT > LTTP > WW > TP > FSA > LoZ > SS > LoZ2 > PH > BOTW
Everything that isn't on the list I haven't played yet.
Probably going to get a lot of shit for ranking BotW this low, but I couldn't get immersed into the world at all and after not having fun with it 13 hours later I just turned off my Switch and haven't played it since. At least the master sword figurine that came with it looks nice.
Actually being there instead of doing a pre-recorded Direct.
Monster Hunter has been on PS2, Wii, 3DS and PS4.
You know what all these platforms have in common? They are all the best selling platforms of their generation.
Talk about playing it safe.
It works both ways. Either shine like a star or be exposed a fraud. Part of the reason why certain companies that make shit games still don't allow them to be streamed.
Well that was surprising.. Who knew that a game so bad they were giving it away for free on steam and has a history of scummy microtransactions causing community outrage would be horrible to play on an even less capable machine? bigasskappa.png
Gaming in 2018: Look at all this cool shit you'll never get unless you are the chosen one (by RNG mind you). Someone should just make a Warez group called "FUCKMTX" which focuses on developing server emulators to hopefully make an impact on their earnings.
Bad performance and repetitive button mashing gameplay. Gee I wonder why.
Never tried the XBOne controller but ever since someone released a driver for the Switch pro controller in wired mode I tossed my PS4 pad aside with its shitty triggers that are too sensitive and trigger multiple times.
It doesn't indeed.
There are way better games that came out this year.
The best thing about BotW is the music from the epic trailer they showed, then you start playing it and realize there is pretty much no music whatsoever. It also lacks the atmosphere that I love Zelda for. All I'm doing is walking around fucking fields of grass occasionally finding a Korok seed or a weapon that breaks in 3 swings. Nice videogame. It's the most overrated Zelda game that's ...
Electronic Arts..the only company where I wish those boings that brought the 2 towers down would hit their headquarters instead. Don't even pirate their shit or talk about em, they aren't worth anyone's time.
Maybe, just maybe just stop having these ridiculous game development budgets to begin with to keep everyone happy. Nobody wants pay to win garbage and nobody wants increased prices either. Anything PS360 and up looks fine, the rest is just icing on the cake. A Hat in Time was made with a 300k budget and it's fun and beautiful for half the price. I know these AAA games are more 'professional' but honestly who even asked for this? Give us fun and FAIR games and we'll buy em, sim...
It's a shame it required android waifu butt to sell but I'll take it. Both the original and Automata are fantastic. I just prefer the story of the first game. Automata does everything else better :)
Some of us simply wanted a traditional Zelda game. Epic music, dungeons and bossfights. Sandbox games would have been cool for me if I was still 12 or something I guess, but nowadays it just feels like too much effort with very little reward considering the already limited free time I have.
So nice try on the article but it seems to me that the problem is actually people not understanding the critics.
I'm already done with shitting on this game, play whatever the hell yo...
Anyone else think it's Epic's job to make sure these things don't happen to begin with? As far as I'm concerned, if your game is swiss cheese you deserve every bit of misfortune you can get. What happened to the simple cat and mouse game of hacks just getting patched instead of going after actual people that release hacks and point out how much of a fuckup they are? Valve has been doing it for years with CS and it works just fine. Seems like a shameless money grab to me.
1) Switch came out not too long ago while PS4 was already out when this game originally launched. The fact that you hardly see the Switch on store shelves shows there is a lot of potential for this system.
2) The Switch is extremely easy to develop for, as stated by a lot of developers and shown by the release of games like Skyrim, Doom, etc. From what I've seen, it seems to take developers about a week if not days to have something up and running.
3) The game is built w...
Crappy mobile port of a crappy, buggy unoptimized game that's gonna be in beta forever inbound.
Move along, nothing to see here..
This is good. I rather have no games at all than pay to win garbage with RNG on top.
Now if only murica would follow.
Analysts typically know nothing about the game industry, should get fired: Me.
Why kill something that prints money?
In fact, they said the next Zelda game will probably be developed in the same style.
Isn't that exciting? I hope they keep the breakable weapons and weather effects because everyone loves to have to wait for rain to stop to start climbing. I also hope they use the same engine again because on a technical level it blows everything away. The 2 ft draw distance and the sub 30fps is quite an achievement. It also totally deserves the awa...
