No-one seems to have noticed that it took 30 years for the stanards of 1080i/p to actually start being used and it even says in the article this could take ANOTHER 30 YEARS to come to pass.
Someone mentioned PS4 being made for it, more like PS7 or 8. This is not happening before we all have kids or maybe even grandkids.

Hate to say it but upscaling will ONLY work if you use HDMI.
I'm stuck with component on my TV and PS2/DVD look exactly the same.
My Bro has a 40" Samsung R7 for his PS3 and PS2/DVD look much sharper as he uses HDMI.
Need to find a few hundred quid to get a half decent HDMI set now :(
How are you streaming stuff to your ps3? I didn't think the DLNA software was available yet as it's still under development.

Well, I got it to stream, sort of. Everything I've thrown at it with TVerstity so far has been unsupported. Guess the owners of N4G want me discussing it here, so will go google until I find an answer :)
But for those of us that wanted dvd upscaling but don't have a HDMI capable tv (I connect through component) there's no upscaling of either dvd's or ps2 games, which blows imo.
Anyone care to explain why we "need" HDMI to get upscaling?

Seriously tho, very biased article, I'm personally a mixed gamer, I play PC and Console games, as I've got a half decent pc, a 360 and a ps3.
The only thing I'm lacking in truth is spare time...

Ubisoft are lazy, almost as lazy as EA with their yearly patches, sorry releases of FIFA, and that's the only reason this is a 360 exclusive.

Have to agree to be fair, the game itself looks like a second rate shooter with a new twist. That to me doesn't make it a great game. There needs to be a bit more depth to make it "Great"
