Yup, I was gonna post the same thing.

Apparently SecuRom was the easy thing to get past (it's as good as dead now anyway, don't know why they bother with it), the online activation is still causing them troubles.

I thought it was ok, it's meant to be like that, like you're being followed by someone with a camera for promotional shots etc.

Been one of two favourite demos in the last few months, bioshock being the other.

Since when did this site become P4G? (pr0n 4 gamers)

Limited edition packing with your very own Big Daddy model would be cool.
Maybe even the comic it's based on (I read a while back that part of the development process was to write a pretty hefty backstory including comic for the game)
I don't see how this game can be rated E (as was mentioned above) the trailer clearly shows quite visceral goings on, plus there's guns. Can't be E...

We already know the demo's coming, people should really stop suggesting it's that....

The home port on the Atari was rubbish compared to the Arcade version tho. I think that's the comparison he's trying to make there.

wow, not only is it dutch, it's blurred over the actual footage of the game (although small snippets can be seen over the annoying small kids shoulder).

Rubbish news post imo.

Get it as soon as live is back up. It's not a huge demo but there is a lot to do. Certainly one of the better demo's out lately I think;

It is a bit max payne-ish with the Tequila Time etc, but I think this goes above and beyond Payne (which was good when it first came out I thought). The standoff system hasn't really been seen before, at least to my knowledge, and you've gotta love sliding down a handrail pulling off headshots on your own. I also love the bulletcam, I shot one guy in the nuts and he didn't go down, then shot the platform he was stood on and laughed. Not many games lately have made me do that.

I...

I worked in a game shop at the time Crackdown released and sadly, about 30% of the people who bought it that I spoke to were only buying CD for the H3 beta. I bought Crackdown for Crackdown, didn't give a flying whatsit about H3. Still don't either.

Ok, so he says "omg there's a problem" but doesn't actually list what the problem is with (which dvds/games). Fake maybe?

My god how long has this rumour been going round the net now?

Does anyone know of any mirrors for the client? I've got the key already I just despise using fileplanets servers. About as reliable as bush in office...

Xbox also has a good 16 months lead on sony for those demo's too, don't forget.

Sony will catch up, but only if developers release ps3 demo's to sony for the psn. It's not just Sony's fault here.

You have to consider all those sad people out there who play games primarily for achievements, and as this game will be using the Windows Live system, they can get a whole extra 1000 points for it.

I know most of the people on my contact list will play it, cos they're just that desperate for points.

There was a special edition Asteroids Playstation (only three made, ever) that went for over $12,000 as well. I know the guy who sold it, the lucky git.

K, I actually read all your post (rant?) but I fail to see your point.

You waffled on about Peter Moore (who has nothing to do with this story); then EA and Ubisoft (neither company has anything to do with this story); PS3 having one PowerPC processor (fundamentally true, but there's a LOT more to it than that); Nintendo underestimating Sony in Japan (nothing to do with this story) and also Factor Five's previous games on the Cube (nothing to do with this story).

You say that like it's a bad thing? That game was like crack to some people.

Very true. Also, to Sony, £100M is like the loose change you find down the back of the sofa.
