I don't see anything wrong with Blue Dragon Mak, I'm wondering if you've played it properly or just dislike it cos it's a japanese styled RPG. tbh you're starting to give regular PS3 users (not fanboys) like me a terrible name.

I think they stand a fairly good chance. I've been holding off a full upgrade waiting for AMD to release Barcelona, and frankly my machine eats anything I throw at it anyway so see no reason to go with a c2d setup. I haven't owned an Intel pc since my P90, back in the day, since then I've had AMD every time and I've no intention of changing that now unless AMD royally mess up, which frankly I don't think they'll do.

Whatever the price is, so long as it's not huge, like £40 I'll get it. They'll probably add something into the full game that allows you to load your savegame from prologue and either give you more money to start or access to more cars. That's what they did before.
Same version, I believe the only difference is instead of sixaxis control, you use the analog stick. I expect there are other constraints but withouth having tried it (yet) I don't know, sorry.
Graphically, it seems very similar tho.

I've played the PC version and frankly wouldn't even give it a score. I love my RPG's but this is one dire, awful game.
The graphics are terrible, it looks like a game made in 2002, not 2007.
The sound and voice acting is laughable, like lip synching hasn't been around since HL2!
Gameplay itself is dull, repetetive, even turgid.
There is nothing I can actually think of to recommend this game to anyone.

8800gts is excellent bang for buck value, but if you want true power, the 8800gtx's are the daddy atm. Being as money is no issue, then the XXX GTX from XFX is probably the one for you. Hope you're running Vista to get the DX10 goodness from it :)

Nobody complained about that because fans of the genre know it's worth it, and frankly it makes stuff all difference to the playing of the game.
If Crysis ever hits ps3/360, it'll be in a cut down form anyway, like the far cry games were (they weren't even done by Crytek, rather one of Ubisoft's dev houses)
I guess I'm about 5 hours in, I don't think I've figured out most of the item combo's etc, I keep getting items (like wood chop) that I can't use with any of my characters. Haven't figured out why yet, but I'll keep playing till I find out :)

CoD2 on Veteran easily had 30 hours of gameplay.
I'm obviously not gonna get a sensible answer out of the dribbling fanboys here anyway, I'll just go back to Bioshock.
From memory, it was cos the master version that all cd's were copied from was often using gold media to signify it's uniqueness, this of course was back before mass duplication systems from code rather than hard copies became prevelant and we had to rely on slower single disk copiers. (We are talking a LONG time ago here, back in the days on 1x CD-ROM's). the gold disks were also meant to be more hardy and resistant to scratching.
I guess I must be the only person on N4G who's really not that bothered about Halo? Thought the beta was boring, it needs to have one HELL of a single player campaign (30 hours minimum) before I'll even consider it tbh.
