Highly anticipated? Never heard of it.
No.
PS3 has far more and far better exclusives at this point. There's no reason not to own a PS3 anymore. This isn't 2007. Stop living in the past and clinging to your outdated 360.
It was okay. No idea why it won all those awards, it honestly wasn't that special, just another third person shooter with a cheesy made for TV movie storyline and the one millionth game with Nolan North in it.
I love how the only people who say that 8 hour games are "too long" are the same people who get every game in the world for free and have to rush through them for reviews and stuff. Most people who aren't in games "journalism" beat God of War 3 in a day or two. Way too short. There's no excuse for any game to be 8 hours long when they take YEARS to develop it. Too long my ass, 8 hour games are not worth $60. Maybe if I got every game for free like these idiots then I would...
"James Mestemaker worked for both Bioware Austin and NCSoft, on Star Wars: The Old Republic and Tabula Rasa, respectively. Both games are popular MMOs."
Haha, what? Tabula Rasa got cancelled like less than a year after it came out because it was unfinished and no one played it, and The Old Republic isn't even out yet, how are either of these "popular MMOs"?
Um, some do I'm sure? Depends on the game. I don't think there's a "common misconception", I just think that a lot of the time, Sony exclusives aren't games that might appeal to the masses, like a boneheaded, mindless shooter with numbskull space marines like Halo or Gears of War. Sony exclusives usually appeal to more mature audiences so a lot of the time they sell less based on gamer interest alone rather than the fact that it's specifically on PS3.
So when are they going to delay the PC version until 6 months after the 360 version comes out?
How is a 9.3 bad? I'm pretty sure that's like "amazing". If he did get fired because of that review it's because of people like YOU, whining that an "amazing" review score is too low.
Say whaaaaaaaaaaat
Wow, 9.5? Really?
Is this show even on anymore? Who cares. Is anyone actually going to buy this?
I love how people defend a game SO MUCH that they probably haven't even played yet. He's right, the story in these games has always sucked, and this one has plot holes. Not every game is perfect. Sorry if that takes away from the "OMG THIS IZ TEH BEST GAME EVR CUZ SOOOOO EPIC" for you crybabies but it's true. If you deny the truth, it just makes you look like an ignorant fanboy. Not saying this article is great but it's true about a few things. The unlock system as well. Same thing ...
I think almost every game is too short, but I still buy a lot of games cause I like them. I wish every game was 50-100 hours, even God of War games. No one says you have to play it in one sitting, you can play chunks at a time. No such thing as "too long" for any type of game. The only games that are long enough are MMOs or really long RPGs with good replayability/multiple character creations; games that you can play for months or years. I don't really see any excuse any game has to...
Doesn't surprise me, it's GameStop. They never order more copies than were pre-ordered. It's like they are too stupid to get more money because they always have their heads up their ass with the pre-order nonsense.
Wow I was expecting higher honestly. Must be because of achievements, no other reason to get it for 360. At least it proved to be worthwhile for Square Enix.
I honestly never thought Heavy Rain looked that good except for a few backgrounds.
I don't know what's more pathetic, the fact that this company exists or the fact that they will make millions of dollars from this idea.
That's what I've always said. If anything, FF13 has higher production values BECAUSE it's multiplatform, since they knew they would make more money over all, they could invest more money in it. Making it PS3 exclusive wouldn't change the core game.
There's never "too much to do" in a non-MMO game. No reason to ruin your life. If you play 12 hours a day you'll be done the game in a few days no matter how long it is or how many boring sidequests there are to do. There's always an end.
