Yeah the control scheme argument doesn't count. The fact that every MMO uses the 1-9 skill scheme isn't necessarily a good thing. Who says every MMO has to control like that? Developers are just too lazy or scared to try something new.

Shadow of the Colossus is still a better game. I'm sure the Last Guardian will be on the same level as God of War 3, if not surpassing it, and the atmosphere will be beyond anything God of War 3 could ever dream of.
I hated Gears of War and loved Uncharted, but I hated Uncharted 2 and loved Gears of War 2. Weird. Anyone's game now, in my books. I'm not a fan of Unreal Engine 3 but Epic has done some cool stuff with it. Story is a bit better in Uncharted 2 but nowhere as good as people think it is. It's the characters that are good, but the story itself blows. First Uncharted had a much better story and better pacing as well. Um, yeah? I think precision is the ONLY thing that matters. Motion controls are crap, and having cheap gesture based movements like the Wii makes it even worse. I would never play a Wii game as it takes no skill since you don't have to actually move the motion controller in a way that they want you to. I doubt I will EVER get a PlayStation Move since it's a complete waste, but I would feel even worse about it if it wasn't 1:1.
Neat, I just hope their next game is longer and has more interactivity and maybe an actual inventory system like a real adventure game where you actually have to figure out stuff for yourself and not just go along with the same canned story as everyone else so it doesn't feel like half a game like Heavy Rain did.

Not as a whole, no, simply because games have come so far since then, especially PS3 games. Had Heavenly Sword come out today, I think it definitely would have a chance. It certainly does some things a LOT better than God of War games ever have, that being story, characters and acting and an overall sense of atmosphere and immersion.
