It's true, most don't. Most don't even know how they get made, all they care about is Call of Duty.
More WoW clones. I don't think we'll EVER see anything fresh until WoW dies, which wont be for a long time.
I somehow doubt that. It'll get 500000 subscribers first month, then they'll all go back to WoW and it'll keep maybe 10000-20000 for the first year, then taper off after that, just like every other MMO.
Pretty sure it says CRYSIS 2 writer, not Crysis 1 writer. It's a different writer idiot, he never claimed that the first Crysis had a good story.
It's true. All you blind Uncharted 2 fanboys, take off your goggles for a second and think. What did Uncharted 2 do for story that was unique to video games? Non-interactive cutscenes shot in the way a movie is shot, starring actors. Even Naughty Dog has said, hundreds of times, that it's like "playing a movie". Games have so much potential to do so much more in terms of storytelling, yet most big developers are just trying to rip off movies. They are not playing to the strengths of...
I like the Metal Gear Solid universe a lot better, it's much more imaginative. Sure, the cutscenes always drag on and there never feels like there's enough gameplay, but they have a sense of coolness about them that Splinter Cell has never achieved. Splinter Cell always tries to be so serious and gritty and visceral and whatever other PR buzzwords you want to throw in there. It sucks all the fun out.
I think it's kinda pathetic that people spend so much of their time trying to figure out the release date of a video game. Seriously, it'll come out when it comes out. What's the point of this? Even if you DID find out that it's coming out in April 2012, what difference will it make? You'll still have to wait until that time to play it. It's not like figuring it out will enable to you play it immediately. And even if it did, IT'S A GAME.
Already do hate it, I don't even have to read this article. Motion controls are for children, PS3 is for adults.
So it's not going to be scary at all and it's just going to be full of the same cheap shock tactics like the same monster jumping out at you 50000 times, and bodies laying on the ground that are obviously going to jump up at you when you walk near them? Great...
That game was way too predictable. They need to put more psychological scares in rather than just "OOO ANOTHER MONSTER JUMPING AT YOU, AHH SO SCARY!"
The storytelling was good, but only because they mocapped the actual actors. The story itself blew. It was almost exactly like the first one. No imagination.
Killzone 2's graphics aren't super realistic, they always felt slightly cartoony to me. Crysis has always aimed for photorealism. Can't really compare the two, but I thought the first Crysis (and especially Warhead) looked better than Killzone 2 already so it's only natural that the sequel does as well.
Activision strikes again! Having to buy the game 3 times already was a deal breaker for me, this is just icing on the cake. Definitely not getting this. Not worth paying hundreds of dollars to play a 12 year old game.
That looks like a possessed teletubby.
How is the Fifth Element SO BAD that it's good? That movie is awesome.
Why would they only release two instead of three? And why wouldn't they release the two GOOD DLCs? Makes no sense.
I can only handle like one or two games like this a year. This is gonna be, what, number 5 or 6? Wont be getting this. Seriously, come up with some original style of gameplay instead of making some half assed clone.
It says Crysis 2 writer, not Crysis 1 writer. You have no idea how the story is going to be in Crysis 2. He wasn't claiming that Crysis 1's story was any good since it's a different person writing it.
I wholeheartedly agree, even though I don't think Crysis had a particularly good story, in fact I can't remember any of it from Crysis or Crysis Warhead, but they were both still MUCH better than any Halo game for the graphics and gameplay alone.
Yeahhhh that's a no sale for me. Maybe get it when it's cheap down the line, but there's better stuff coming out. Never been huge on Splinter Cell anyway.
Only ones who cry about it and wont take their Uncharted 2 or Halo fanboy goggles off for 2 seconds to realize most of what they are saying is actually true.
