I actually kind of like Marcus in a weird way. I thought I'd hate him but he's already growing on me.
I think people don't realize three things about Move.
1. The Playstation Eye ($40) is required to use Move.
2. Most games require a subcontroller ($30).
3. A lot of games, INCLUDING THE SPORTS GAME IT COMES WITH, require TWO Move controllers (another $50).
Watch the E3 video. For most of the sports games, people one Move in each hand, like for bows, etc. Hence why they call it a "starter kit". It will NOT give you everything you ...
I MIGHT get one if the price drops, but that'll be a long way off considering it isn't even out yet. No controller is worth $130, sorry Sony.
No one complained? Countless internet message board threads say otherwise.
Hopefully there will be non-3D versions if this is the case. Or they make 3D versions $59.99 and lower the price of non-3D to $49.99
Wow, El Shaddai looks amazing. I wish more developers would take risks like that with graphics rather than trying to make every game look like Gears.
Longer than most, that's all I care about. Looks awesome, too bad they haven't actually shown any gameplay.
It's a futuristic third person shooter...great.
My dad doesn't play video games.
Nooooo damnit. You realize he's worked on tons of franchises, right? He's not going to announce another MGS game when Rising is right around the corner. Only Activision would do something like that.
Wait, what? People actually like this? Isn't this just a port of that crappy Wii game? War in the North is supposed to be the good Lord of the Rings game, I think you are all confused.
Neat. My guess is Zone of the Enders, but it could also be something good. Ouch...
I hope not. I'm tired of these gimmicks. I see no reason to keep adding them. There's nothing wrong with the current state of gaming (other than some games are "dumbed down" to attract a wider audience) so I don't know why they don't just stay the course. They are making money now with just selling games. Investing in new technologies that few people want, and even fewer are willing to pay for is a stupid idea and will result in them losing more money in the long run...
The only reason WAR didn't do as well as it should have was because everyone's friends were playing WoW still and the two games are very similar in terms of theme(even though I did enjoy a lot of elements of WAR more than WoW). That does not mean WAR is a bad game.
This game is NOT scheduled for a 2011 release. It's 2012-2013, which is exactly WHY they haven't shown much of it. Vigil literally just got the go ahead to start making it when Darksiders was almost...
Oh Activision. Everything you say is hilariously hypocritical. I love you.
Move and Kinect are hardly innovation...Move IS Wii Motion Plus. Like...it IS that. Nothing more. And Kinect is just the PS2 eye. Nothing innovative about either. As for the 3DS, it's just another piece of outdated Nintendo hardware that people will pay hand over fist for because Nintendo fans are braindead rubes. Ohhh but it has gimmicky 3D that most people can't play because they get headaches because it tries to do something unnaturally terrible to your eyes, that makes it worth a ...
EA did the best job on their press conference. Very little yacking, and non-stop good games. Sure, not every game was my cup of tea, but they are all generally regarded as good, with very few gimmicks like hours of motion control crap, or 3D crap, and no boring sales figures. True, they could have shown some more games, but what they showed was head and shoulders above the other press conferences.
I really hope 3D bombs like every other time they've tried to do it throughout the last 60 years. It's a gimmick, plain and simple. It's not necessary and it's bad for your eyesight, especially if people will be watching tv in 3D for hours, the playing games in 3D for hours. Kids just being born now will be blind by the time they are 30.
He was okay at first, but after hours of listening to his moaning sounds and over dramatic acting, it got really old. Not saying they should change the voice, I hate when sequels do that, but he should ham it up less.
It was already announced a while ago, but still good news. I loved this game.
