Why I "should"? I'd rather actually own my content rather than "renting" it while I pay a yearly fee. I realize it's not that expensive, but there's no a lot of benefits. I don't spend $50 a year on DLC or PSN content alone, and even with the discounts it'll probably cost over $200 a year just to get your $50 back worth of discounts, so it's not worth it.
If PS3 is the sports car everyone is driving, then Platinum Games is the auto body shop owner's retarded son who ruins the car while trying to soup it up.

You realize 11.5 million is the number they give to make them sound like there's a lot of people playing it, right? That's the total number of registered users for the game since it came out, probably only 1/3 of that number actually plays the game right now.
You know people wont stop playing it if he does. The Stockholm syndrome will kick in like it always does with exorbitant video game fees, and people will all be like "I'll gladly pay $15 a month cause that means I'll get lots of free content like an MMO and I wont have to pay for map packs anymore" even though they will probably still charge for them.

I love how they say this. Jesus Christ, open a history book for once and realize that violence in humanity has been around for thousands (if not millions) of years. People used to teach their kids methods of killing and violence all the time. I'd say other than the greedy war for oil, er, I mean on "terrorism" the states is running, things are pretty non-violent right now.

Why are gimmicks now considered innovation? The fad will be over in 5 years and everyone will go back to using regular controllers. This wont "change things forever" when they realize what a small percentage of PS3 and 360 gamers actually buy these things. The only reason that it's such a "big thing" is because it comes BUNDLED with the Wii, and people buy the Wii cause it has Mario, not because it has motion controls.
