Don't hold your breath, Sony. I definitely will not be spending $130 on a CONTROLLER, you must be out of your f*cking mind. As much as I like your games, your pricing structures have always been mind boggling to me. No one bought your $600 console when it came out and no one will buy your $130 controller either. Call me crazy, but a controller should be $40-$50 at most. It's hilarious that you announced the Move at $49.99 and everyone cheered, then 2 seconds later announced the subcon...
Sad how this beats all the other huge video game news at E3. Get a girlfriend you losers.
I'm glad some people want this, since it's a PS3 exclusive, but it honestly does nothing for me at all. Looks like yet another boring war shooter to me.
I have a feeling you will need PSN+ to get Steam...
Either way, who cares honestly. I don't see why it's such a big deal to have Valve games on the PS3. You can run their crappy 12 year old software on a netbook. Anyone can play it on any computer, why not just get it there for cheaper?
I've really, honestly tried to play Valve games. I played all the scenarios in Left 4 Dead, played through Portal in one sitting, and Half-Life 2 with both episod...
So what. It's pre-orders for crappy motion controls to play kiddy games and jump around in your living room like an idiot. In this race, nobody wins.
You're an idiot. I can't speak for everyone, but I personally hate the vast majority of first person shooters, and I hate playing online (especially in shooters) even more, but I played Killzone 2 for months straight online, every day, for hours. I've never done that with any shooter before in my life, and it definitely was NOT for the graphics.
I guess most people just like waiting in lobbies for 10 minutes to play a 3 minute boring basic death match where every...
I keep my gaming and my exercising separate, that's the way I like it. I don't want to stand for hours playing games, I want to lay on the couch.
Oh joy, now every MMO loser can mess up their eyes by staring at 3D for 14 hours a day.
Obviously, only an idiot would think that a 1 minute trailer was 100% representative of the gameplay in a video game.
Yay, another crappy third person shooter with a stupid gimmick...
I'm really disappointed in this year's E3, it's making me embarrassed to be a gamer. Shoveling this crap at as in addition to all the motion control kiddy games...this looks like beginning of the end for gaming as we know it.
I have a feeling they just slapped Kojima's name on it so people would buy it, I doubt he did any work on it. It looks like another half assed God of War clone...a God of War clone made by a Japanese developer...enough said.
Plain and simple, you need to drop at least $130 just to play a game. $130 for a CONTROLLER is $100 too much. I don't care what you Sony sympathizers say. You're an idiot if you think they're not ripping you off, open your eyes.
Dude, you're not factoring in the sub controller, that's an extra $30 per person. The bundle does NOT include the subcontroller.
Dude, watch that again. It's $50 for the wand, eye toy and some crappy demo disc. It doesn't say anywhere or show anywhere on that add that it includes the nunchuck thing, that's $30 extra. Plus, a lot of games will require 2 wands, so that's another $50.
I don't understand why one controller is half the price of the entire system. It should be like $39.99 with both parts, and $59.99-$69.99 with cam. The price they are charging for this stuff is insulting. I hope nobody buys them and they discontinue the entire Move thing and admit that they were idiots for thinking tons of people would actually pay that much money for this.
I'm kinda glad it's Raiden again (or maybe Grey Fox? Have they even said?) As much as I like Snake, it feels like his time is over and he went out with a bang, there's no real reason to bring him back again.
No thanks, I'd rather have sex with my girlfriend or watch porn.
I think it was a great idea to have Dead Space 2 at the conference, as it's a very highly anticipated sequel to a fantastic game that sold very well on PS3. With the inclusion of Dead Space Extraction for free for the Move, there's no reason they shouldn't have put that in the conference. It's a great idea, and it means a lot more people will buy the PS3 version, and Move.
This game obviously is still going to come out, stop worrying so much and freaking out. It'll be out when it's out. It will certainly be at TGS. This is one game I personally don't want to see much of. I saw too much of Shadow of the Colossus and that took away from it for me. Usually I don't care, but this kind of game is all about the experience, I don't want to see chunks of it here and there.
If it's good, I'll just get it on PC... Regardless of if I have a peripheral and/or mic does not mean everyone else playing will. In fact, most people have neither. It's going to be a complete mess on PS3. No one will be able to communicate, and therefore they will all be running around doing their own thing, just like in every other PS3 game where no one has a mic.
They should include a mic/keyboard with EVERY SINGLE COPY of the game if there's any hope to m...
