3D without glasses is the only way it'll ever take off. They've had the technology for years and they were planning to release it 2-3 years ago, but they wont because they want to make money off of stupid suckers like you people, buying $4000 for a TV and $200 for each pair of glasses while they laugh all the way to the bank, then release the glasses free TVs two months later and laugh when you go buy one of those. The only way we'll get glasses free 3D tvs is if you morons stop b...

To all the parents out there, have you ever tried simply turning off the video games, sitting down with your kids, and hitting them?

Seriously, all of you worthless lazy fucking people out there love to blame video games to cover up your own glaring inadequacies as parents. It's YOUR fault your kids are violent, it's YOUR fault your kids are rude. Hell, it's YOUR fault that your kids are playing video games non-stop in the first place. Get off your ass and do some...

The Old Republic, even though it is fully voiced and actually has a story, looks very vanilla in terms of everything else. It's just another MMO in terms of combat, crafting, roles, layout, mob behaviour, etc etc. I don't think it'll be anything special. Sure, people will play it at first, but it doesn't know what it's trying to be. It's trying to cater to both single player RPG fans and MMO fans, but it will fail in the end at both, simply because a HUGE portion of MM...

Simple, stop trying to copy WoW. Just because it's popular with midwestern housewives doesn't mean it's a good game, it means it's a good chatroom to lose your pathetic life to.

It does look good for a licensed game, and Batman and the new Transformers game have shown us that not all licensed games are bad, as long as they aren't directly related to a movie coming out at the same time, but unfortunately this game brings with it a negative connotation for me as I really didn't care for the movies (and the ride was only so-so, from what I remember going on it as a kid). Pirates are cool, but pirate games are cheesy.

All these MMOs have the most generic names possible. Doesn't make it stand out from the rest.

Um, duh? Why wouldn't they be working on it? This isn't news. That's like saying the sky is blue. Obviously.

Really looking forward to Extraction, I never got to play it on Wii cause I would never buy one, but that's one of the few games I would get if I had one.

Um, not really, you need to buy a TV. Plus, not every single computer is exactly $1000. Idiot. Sure, I paid $1000 for mine 2 years ago and it still plays every game on max settings with 0 slow down, but that means you could buy the exact same rig today for like $600. Not much more than a console (and less if you bought a launch PS3) not including games and motion controls or an HDTV.

Marketing isn't the problem. Your games actually have to be good if you expect to make any money...

In a perfect world, sure, but that's not how business works so I prefer my method.

Besides, what's the point of buying a used game for $55 then GameStop "disc protection" fee or whatever it is for like $3. That's $58, you seriously can't cough up an extra $2 to get a new game? And why wouldn't you want a new game instead of something some dirty fucking kid got his greasy germy hands all over?

Okay, here's a journalism tip, free of charge. Never write an article that has a title that ends in a question mark. Not only are you not providing people with any new relevant information, but it implies that you are making assumptions which in turn just makes you look like an idiot.

I realize your "boss" or whatever is probably whipping your back, forcing you to write pointless articles in order to get more "clicks" but you can come up with somethin...

Probably just meant that it has multiplayer. Co-op would be cool though, but don't grasp at straws.

Sucks to used games. I'd rather pirate a game than give GameStop $55 in profit that the developers wont see a cent of. They're not worthy of my money. I buy all games new, or not at all.

It's not the RPG stuff that worries me about this game, it's the combat. From what I've seen it's just boring typical MMO combat the same as any game out there. They went through great lengths to make this different in terms of RPG stuff and story but they didn't bother doing a thing with combat.

Loser. He could take this opportunity to quit his pathetic addiction and get a real life, but instead he's going to start fresh at level 1 tomorrow after his all night crying fit. We all know it.

No one bought a PSP Go either, it sold like 50000 in a year which is pathetic. The price is still $250. Sony isn't that smart when it comes to pricing, I doubt they will lower it in a year even if it sells worse than the PSP Go.

Americans are dumb and they enjoy paying more money for shit. Oh, I mean, "freedom".

5701d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

They aren't really hidden. Sony didn't hide anything. Only an idiot wouldn't be able to figure out the prices on their own.
