Pay to play should always be the right choice. That way, everyone is on an even playing field. If you play free to play games and not spend any money, you'll never come anywhere close to being as good as people who do pay, and the people who do pay for stuff usually spend WAY more money than they would on a pay to play game.
Since when did $15 become a lot of money? How can you people not afford that? You can buy $1000 computers, $300 consoles...$150 crappy motion control...

Wow. I don't want any of these. I think there's maybe one game I'm interested in (Fable 3) for the rest of the year, and 587047503453 coming spring 2011. Developers are stupid when it comes to release dates. Learn how to spread out your game releases better, what the hell is in spring anyway? Why is that such a big release window now?
Trade games with friends or sell them directly to other people via Craigslist or something. There are always other alternatives than selling to Gamestop for $5 then having them resell it for $55.
They are worse in my opinion. At least no one is making a profit off of pirated games, they are free to everyone. Gamestop charges $55 for what is essentially a pirated game. That's just criminal.

Also, I think people are forgetting that most Americans CAN be generalized. Sure, maybe you personally enjoy them, but you are one out of millions. And you visit video game sites on a daily basis, which means you AREN'T part of the majority, as most people who only buy their Maddens and their Call of Duties couldn't care less about video game site...

Wow, it looks like... WoW. Looks pretty glitchy too, especially the cover system with the smuggler...and none of the enemies move. The guy playing even looks bored when he tries jumping around and running circles around mobs while attacking him to make it look more fun, but alas, it does not. Fail. This should not get a free pass just because it's Bioware/Star Wars, looks like another generic MMO. Sorry Bioware, Talking doesn't make the gameplay good, no matter how much of it there is...
