They don't buy games there, they pay to play everything.
Why?!
Hahaha that was great.
Second game does look better, but the voice acting still sounds atrocious.
Dawn of War 2 > StarCraft 2.
There, I said it.
The fact that this game isn't more popular is criminal. It looks and plays so much better than big upcoming MMOs (Final Fantasy XIV and The Old Republic in particular) but because it doesn't have some game franchise/licensed name attached to it, it'll never get the attention it deserves. Shame.
I used to think this chick was hot until I found out it was a dude.
Easy, it's made by Obsidian. So basically, just copy whatever the original company did in the first game, but make it worse and screw up every gameplay mechanic that was good in the first game (or third in this case). That's the Obsidian way!
Well, most gamers are idiots.
People can have preference, sure, but the entire fanboy war is just pathetic. I have a PS3, 360 and gaming PC. I play my PS3 the most, then PC, then 360 last, but even though I don't play 360 that much it would be ignorant to say that there still aren't good games on it.
From what I've played in the beta, not even close. They essentially just released the exact same game with a few minor tweaks and slightly updated graphics. Gameplay and units are pretty much identical and the feel of the game is exactly the same.
That being said, most Blizzard fans are idiots and will worship anything that company releases without being able to judge the game for what it actually is (I think they must have a missing gene or something) so I'm sure th...
Yup. The entire reason why everyone loves Uncharted 2 so much but are too stupid to realize that it's just a linear shooter.
Nahhh
Nah. I think a lot of franchises are switching to more of an "action game" feel, which is regrettable but they wont go away entirely.
I don't think nearly as many people play anymore as you think. They still say 11 million players in every ad, and that started like over 2 years ago. I doubt they more than 1/3 of that right now, especially since no one in China plays anymore. That was the biggest hit they took, and they lost like at least 5 million subscribers there. WoW is nothing when you compare it to Korean MMOs with 50 to 200 million players. Sure, it might still be kinda popular in North America, but most Americans...
Um, why? It should have come out 2-3 years ago if they wanted to hit it at the height of its popularity. Nobody plays WoW anymore, and even fewer will play it when the movie actually does come out.
How about making them longer than 8 hours?
That's not a leak, that's not anything.
I still like the idea of a viking. One tree for ranged, one tree for sword and board, and one tree for spears. Would make more sense since no class has any shield skills either. What kind of game would this be with no shields? "Bowman" wouldn't use a shield.
I can't wait till this stupid game gets released so we don't have to hear about it anymore.
I thought they said they weren't going to milk the franchise.
Boring as shit.
I don't get why they wouldn't just make a new franchise. They are just making people nervous to buy this by making it a sequel to a piece of crap. Not every game has to be a franchise. I wish developers would realize that.
