They already said it was going to be a casual, most likely free-to-play game. Probably some facebook crap.
Why? What's the point?
I doubt The Old Republic will be very good, and the article states exactly why in one succinct statement: "It's played like every other MMO on the market"
Boom. It has the same gameplay that everyone hates, and essentially the main reason that people don't play MMOs, or quit MMOs. Boring, repetitive combat. It baffles me that they are actually trying to ATTRACT single-player RPG fans to this game while using the exact same boring combat system that is keepin...
Looks like Mafia 2. Pass.
First trailer made it look cool and unique but it's obvious it's just going to be another open world shooting/driving game with all the same problems, issues and mission types that we've all played a million times before. I don't get how people can just play what is essentially the same game over and over and over, and shell out $60 each time. Something new please.
Yay, just like 50000 other games...
Red Dead Redemption is the only decent game on there. The masses are stupid.
So Activision is basically just bragging about how much they ripped people off? Glad those numbers don't include a cent from me. I wouldn't buy an Activision game just like I would never buy an American car.
Diablo 3 might be the only game I ever buy from them, but if they start micro transactions or monthly fees, I'm pirating that shit.
Oh shit, did nobody tell you? That expansion came out like 2 years ago bro.
Just because it's dark doesn't mean it's a horror game. It never presented itself as a scary game, nor did the developers ever classify it as a horror game. Irrelevant question. That's like classifying it as a driving game because it has a couple car sequences in it.
In my house.
Two people in the world are crying.
Yeah, no way I'd buy a GTS 250. Why skimp on the most important part of a gaming rig?
Hahahaha. I was like "what the hell is this crap" until the end. Hilarious.
Wow cool, so every class is new, every skill is new, they completely overhauled the crappy autoattack combat system, then redid the 6 year old kiddy graphics into something completely unrecognizable, they changed all the loot and armor sets and they reset everyone's level to 1? Awesome, if it's completely different, maybe I'll play it.
Right on the money with this. These are the same exact problems I've been seeing with the game. It seems everyone else is to blinded by the glitz and glamor of a high profile Star Wars Bioware MMO to realize them too. That's fanboys for ya.
It does just look like it's going to be sci-fi WoW with voice acting. The combat is WAY too reminiscent of that. Obviously WoW wasn't the first to do that style of (boring as shit) combat, but I strongly believe that if it...
I wouldn't even pay for the game, why would I pay to play online? Activision is about to get a serious reality check. They can only rip people off for so long (hopefully people are as smart as I'm giving them credit for)
Nope, it's terrible. It allows people to actually BUY games instead of simply pirating them for free. Idiots.
Hahaha WoW is not anywhere NEAR the most played MMO of all time, Jesus. There are countries outside of your little America, you realize.
Dungeon Fighter Online last reported 200 million players. WoW has maybe 3 million right now.
Neither. They were both pretty okay, but I wouldn't say either "rule" anything.
Guild Wars wont be out until at least next summer. I'm sure you can squeeze in almost a year of Final Fantasy 14. Guild Wars 2 looks much better in my opinion; they are doing a lot of innovating and the gameplay looks WAY better and faster paced. Plus, no monthly fees. Can't lose with that.
This site, however, sounds like something written by GameStop. There's no reason to pre-order this game, especially not right now. Most MMOs suck at the start and have a lot o...
