Not by a long shot. $4000 to get a blinding headache? I can cross my eyes and smash myself on the head with a frying pan for free and get the same effect, thanks.
No, the only question is, local or online?
No point. It has a bad enough name now that not enough people will play it even if it did get better.
Shadow of the Colossus in HD looks good, but ICO is a huge difference. Definitely be getting these.
Wow, very impressive. I've always wanted a game like this. And to all the whiners, this ISN'T a Metal Gear Solid game, it's a Raiden friggin' ninja game that takes place IN THE METAL GEAR UNIVERSE so shush. Don't like it? Don't buy it.
Going to be tons of whiners about this, always focusing on the negative instead of the fact that there's going to be another Demon's Souls type game. Awesome. Who gives a crap if it's multiplat, not like the first was SO AMAZING graphically, or even ran at a decent framerate all the time that the 360 will somehow make this one inferior.
Good God...
Japanese games keep trying to be appealing to "the west".
Twilight is popular in the west, let's make Dante some angry brooding teen. They'll like that there!
They need to do some more research on who is their actual target audience and not assume that just because something is popular here doesn't mean the people playing your game also like it. It's for fucking 12 years olds, this isn't. Get a clue....
It takes 70 people to make team death match? Kinda sad...
Must be the best game in the world, right? Just like Justin Bieber is the best singer cause he sells a lot of albums!
One of the few PS3 games I'm really looking forward to in the next little while. Something different instead of FPS sequel #5 and TPS sequel #7
I hope so, the multiplayer looked atrocious.
Oh, this title is a bit misleading, I thought it was saying that Ruinc was doing it wrong.
The number one thing they did right was make the game $20. They are going to keep the price for Torchlight 2 down as well, and I guarantee it'll sell more copies than the first because of the more open world it offers, and most importantly, co-op. Not every game has to be $60.
Mixing the two can definitely work. Dawn of War 2 is an excellent example of that. I personally prefer the "one badass character" model myself. I'm not big on controlling groups or minions unless it's done really well.
There's a few I would have added instead but I'll let it pass since hammers are my favourite weapon in any game (particularly RPGs). I really hope the thunder hammer is in Space Marine though. Fun times.
So you can either play as a Faery or an Elf? Gay...
Always up for fantasy games though. Could be good.
Golden Age of "release the exact same game with a slightly different gimmick" you mean? Sure, it makes money, but are the games necessarily GOOD? People pay a lot of money for Justin Bieber albums, too. Enough said. Most games are shit these days. Gaming has been ruined by the general population. All the best games are niche and hard to find, just like music, just like movies... Anything "mainstream" and "popular" is usually shit. The same old thing with a new gi...
Not a fan of Cryptic at all but the design model they are following with this game sounds extremely intriguing. I've been waiting for a game like this for years, hopefully Cryptic doesn't mess it up. But one of their main problems is not creating enough content, particularly at end game, but having users be able to create content for the game and specifically basing the game around constantly adding new content could fix this issue. Even if they don't live up to their word and mak...
Your body is the controller, and it fails, so add Your Body to that list.
Kinect, Move, Wiimotion and the PS3 triggers.
So are you, my friend. So are you.
