How on earth did Uncharted change the world? It's just a linear TPS handholding platformer...? It's not like it broke any sales records or got people into gaming who never played games before or created a new genre or did anything at all to advance the genre or industry or did anything revolutionary or different in any way. Even the article said there is nothing different that the game does and that it hasn't changed the world of gaming, so why would it even be on the list??
Not really as I am still on the fence about whether or not to get this. I was shocked when I heard the story was even weaker than the last game...I didn't think that was possible. And after playing a bunch of the beta I realized I am simply not having fun with it. The way they virtually turned it into Call of Duty is just shameful and uninteresting to me. If I wanted to play a game like CoD, I'd play CoD. The controls are way too twitchy, the weapons are all way too powerful and class...
Huh? Why would it mean anything more than on any other platform?
Meh. And to all the Sony fanboys out there who will undoubtedly speak ill of this demo by comparing it to the Killzone 3 beta, the Killzone 3 beta only works about 10% of the time...I've had it lock up on me about 5 times now, not to mention the game sticking at the "connecting..." screen for 10 minutes straight until I turned it off, or the constant network errors, like some gems such as 20000, 20001, 38001, 1900 and -9478362874 or whatever it is. Demos have problems, get over ...
No.
Oh no, what ever shall we do...
Kinda glad there's no new info...I want to go into the game knowing nothing about it. A lot of the characters and surprises were ruined for me with the second one for reading/watching too many previews.
Also, multiplayer? No thanks...the ONLYYYYYYYY way is if it was co-op, then it might work, maybe...but I really don't want an army of commander shepards playing team death match, that would just be stupid and ridiculous.
Also, this fall? We'll be ...
Sony has ALWAYS known who they were up against and ALWAYS priced their hardware way too high. I'm basing this on their track record which you really can't disagree with.
Really? This game is like already dead. The appeal wore off soooo fast considering it's essentially the same game as Fallout 3. When Fallout 3 game out, it was new and fresh and different. This is just the same brown boring environments filled with bugs, glitches and unrealistic animations.
I personally hate the COD series and think that it is essentially the same thing year after year and an obvious cash-in, but Killzone 3 is really not that different from the second from what I have seen and played. The only difference is, I find the subject matter and gameplay in Killzone 3 more enjoyable. Just personal taste.
How is he a troll just because he has an opinion that differs from you? You really are an idiot.
Highly doubtful. The gimmick of glasses-free 3D, Mario games and Nintendogs games, Ocarina of time in 3D and the fact that it's a successor to the best selling portable device ever made with virtually the same name, coupled with the fact that it will undoubtedly be significantly cheaper than the NGP means that it will never dominate the market.
Having said that, it has potential to do a lot better than the PSP did and will still sell well, but it will not outsell the 3DS...
lul @ Pantera
Glasses-free TV is the only way I am ever going to get into 3D, and that's only if they drop the prices significantly (which they will, eventually). Right now they are roughly $3000 for a 20 inch TV, which is criminal. My monitor is bigger than that. Who is going to sit on the couch in front of a 20 inch TV that they spent $3000 bucks on? Obviously nobody, which is the ONLY reason they aren't selling. $3000 as a selling price isn't THAT outrageous for new tech like this, but they ...
Could it be because they are fucking $3000 for a 20 inch screen? Perhaps...
Why do game "journalists" always have to find fault with everything? They said the game would be harder, and people complain. If they said the game would be easier, people would complain and say that an easier difficulty would take away with what made Demon's Souls so special. If they said it was the same difficulty, they would be either blaming 360 owners for From Software not making the game harder than Demon's Souls because PS3 owners were already used to the difficulty, ...
I would rather play new games with a phone than some crappy old ones when they are coming out at the same time.
Killzone 3 and Modern Warfare 2 were reviewed by completely different people. Are you really that stupid?
How many times have you completed the single player campaign to tell us otherwise that the story is better than Killzone 2? What's that? None? What's that? You're a stupid fanboy who is talking out of his ass? Gotcha.
In before the Sony fanboys.
My vote would go to PC though, simply because it seems to be undergoing a renaissance lately, and this year looks to be no different.
