Unbanning Xbox 360 From Live - The Facts
>> I see lots of sites posting today about a way to unban Xbox 360 from LIVE often linking to a thread made on our forums here.
This method has been known for a long time (since the King Kong Exploit days) and does indeed 'work'. Basically you swap the Keyvault (or 'KV' in short, it stores stuff like console certificates, per-box private keys, DVD key, etc) inside the NAN...
Poor thief for getting you Xbox banned.
You are missing the point. Modders do not want a PS3 because they would have to buy the games. They mod because they want the software for free.
So you get a second console to rob it of its ID. If for any reason both are online at the same time, they both get banned.
1. If the modder keeps it for themselves, then what is the point of unbanning the banned one.
2. If they return it to the shop, at some point both consoles are online at the same time, then boo...
@OP Whatever you say. You seem to know best

Yes, I have steam on all the time, 24/7. I bet that counts
I don't no why especially [openzone style statement] 360 owners? Anyway, I am renting because I know I will not playing the MP.
I have Windows 64bit on my HTC; 32bit on my iMac (only got snow leopard for the bootcamp drivers, lol).
Now, I just have to get vista off my laptop. MS have hit the bullseye with this one.
Edit. I like the fact WMP can play .mts file straight off my HD camcorder
Props for the fast response.
Cannot remember playing this level on the 360 or PC. From the looks of it, Treyach has done a pretty good some with this rendition considering the limitations of the platform.
I am renting this on Gamefly as I know I will not touch the MP.
Sorry Activision, you are not getting my money this time. That is reserve for L4d2 (PC), AC2 (360) GOW pack (PS3)
I don't hate him. I am just acknowledging his love for flame-bait. Just like what arsenic13 said - See his submitted headline say it all. There is no need to give him hits.
Flame on, HHG. FLAME ON!
Edit:
Like I eluded to in the other thread http://www.n4g.com/ps3/News... , The PS3 version works as well as all the others. They are much the same once the movie gets started. That is all that matter. The only reason I will not use the PS3 version is because I have a Roku in the living room; and my 2nd 360 in the bedroom that I use really only for netflx (My old UK 360). Anyway, if I do not have Neflix in th...
When do you queue up first on the 360? That was the old version. It has long since been updated with categories.
Granted, you do not have the entire collection of movies in th cats.
The PS3 version when I tried it is just like the Roku version. Yes, you can update the queue via the browser, but you are still adding to the queue first.
Just tried, it.
1. For some reason the output for the UI and movies defaults to 4:3???
2. The UI is almost exactly like Roku (but a bit clunkier to navigate).
3. I think it it is some kind of Java app.
Now I have to work out ow to stop it from defaulting to 4:3.
Edit: I will wait for the proper version to come out.
Edit2: This is almost certainly a a Blu-ray movie Java app. It behave just like a blu-ray where the v...
Got Mine this morning. Will try it soon

Well it appears it was comacast playing about.
The 1st one was far too short (my gaming length limit is 16hours for various reasons). I rented it and bought the DLC (that took all of 20mins if I stretched it out).
I will rent 2 also, as Novemeber is pretty full, gaming wise. (still have to play UC2 on Crushing and level up to 50 on Forza3)
Sloooooow XBL download. HAd to leave it to come to work. Might try the steam version
----->openzone before you get yourself banned
You forget the people who modded do it NOT to pay for the games. At least with the 360, they have a chance getting around it in the future. Not so for the PS3, at th moment anyway
