So they show this to try to take away the broken internet from the horizon forbidden west state of play news. I guess they have their head in the clouds.
I agree that is the case, but a fully offline type of game, like skyrim for instance, even if the license gets revoked, if you have a physical copy and turn off your internet, you play it without patches. This is not the case with digital only games or streaming. You legit own nothing with those but a rental of a license.
The article says this statement was made after the statement from take two saying they (take two) were going to fully support the game and future iterations themselves. It also says in the article it was clears up that Microsoft and obsidian, so Microsoft are going to take the future iterations forward.
I'm just noting how either none of these execs know what their talking about, or they are intentionally lying.
Exactly why I don't believe all these execs like the recent execs of square Enix and all them denying they were ever approached by anyone. This type of stuff always happens. It's like when insomniac said they were waiting for a publisher to pick up sunset overdrive 2 and they would love to make it and about a month later Sony bought them. They weren't bought in a few days. These things take months, sometimes years like the Bethesda acquisition that took about 3 years. Google and A...
Hell no I wouldn't want to subscribe to get PS games on a subscription. It doesn't make profit just like Phil Spencer says. Why should Sony dumb down their games just to get people to subscribe for it and not make money? Nobody wins that way. The gamers get crap games and sony loses money.
And they didn't intentionally lie to their fans for the Witcher 3 like with cyberpunk.
Watch the teaser trailer of ragnorak be where you see a ripped guy turned around and you notice it's Abby, then she rips off Thors head and looks at Kratos.
Still doesn't make sense. Some games are made with much more quality than others. With your own statement you pretty much said that. Famlly time is quality just like some games are made better than others. You can fully enjoy a game that's shorter and costs the same price as a much larger game such as assassins creed like you said and not have as much fun of a time. Just becuase assassins creed takes 60+ hours to complete but it's a complete boring grind, doesn't make it a bet...
That's a dumb way to put it in my opinion. Your buying an experience. How easy is it to spend $20-30 minimum for watching a movie at a theater for 2 hours? Was that worth $15 an hour? Plus that was a one time experience and a game can be replayed. Go to a theme park and easily exceed $70 for a few hours of enjoyment. It's not a 1:1 for enjoyment. Entertainment is based on the fun factor. Was it fun? Did you enjoy yourself? Those are the questions that matter.
What happened when lucasfilm was sold?
Exactly. I kinda feel like they might still release on PS eventually becuase as everyone knows it's the majority of all game sales. It would be stupid to lock out over half of possible sales just to put the game away on a "free" service and make almost no money anyways.
Now it's going to be 16 times the length. It just works.
I've never played a tales game and this one does look intriguing. I'd like to try it out once it releases for sure.
Honestly mmos are a dying breed. This is proven with the returnal backlash of no saves and people saying they can't spend like an hour or two without taking a break for a few days or something. Back when I played wow, guild wars 1 and 2, swtor, lotro, eso, aion, rift, destiny 1 and 2, and actually quite a few more, I spent easily 5-8 hours doing raids with basically no breaks except for one or two bathroom breaks for like 2 min. I simply can't do that anymore and I don't. I own re...
Possibly. I don't know what they see as sustainable or profitable, but it's definitely not good.
I just hope the devs and the IP remain intact. I don't want to see any closures or sell off of IP to tencent or anything.
I havnt played the game in months because it was trash. I still wasn't able to matchmake like ever and I played all the betas as well as launch. It's just a broken game with no good updates.
I don't understand how they keep trying to pump out skin DLC instead of actual gaemplay. Who is going to re-download the game just to buy these skins?
I agree. I'm also sure this game was delayed because Microsoft has 0 exclusives to deliver against this and ghostwire Tokyo. They were both supposed to release last year but right after the acquisition they both get delayed. Kinda fishy. Pretty obvious this game will release without polish and probably downgraded features on purpose for ps5 and then as soon as possible a huge patch and as many features and content as possible on gamepass along with ghostwire Tokyo.
