The console hardware never made a cent of profit since the original Xbox, gamepass has never made profit, most first party titles don't make profit, their recent acquisitions and the ones a few years ago never made profit. Well yeah, Sony has to pay for overhead and infrastructure as well as maintenance and personnel for the 4 psp users out there while atlus just makes straight cash if someone buys one of their super outdated titles and that they are no longer patching or working on.

I think for God of war that's definitely true. Corey barlog did say back in 2018 that they finished God of War before launch and started work on DLC, and a little after launch, like in june of 2018 or so, it became too ambitious and was going to be larger than the base game, so they made it into a full sequel.
So basically the series x/s will have 0 exclusives soon.
I understand the hatred this studio gets, but it's definitely gone too far. Death threats and hacking them are something that should never be done.
It sounds interesting. I wonder what the real gameplay is like considering they said a lot of it is spells. I'm wondering if random spells drop instead of mostly guns and you get random perks on those spells just like borderlands.
