It's actually a pretty decent game so far.
I mean every time there's a delay devs get death threats and boycotts. Whenever they release a buggy game they also get death threats though.

Literally right now the S is available on my sams club app for my store. It's in stock and it's been like that most of the day. I added it to my cart and just looked at it. When a ps5 goes in stock anywhere the website it's on crashes for a while.

I agree. I believe they should have at least showed off GOW gameplay and after we pick our Jaws off the floor, have the screen pop up and say ps5 and ps4. This way we already know it looks amazing and then we get the bad news. Right now the issue is we have no idea what it looks like and all we have is bad news.
Returnal just dropped and it was said by many outlets and journalists as a truly next Gen game. Also horizon FW is said to be the best looking game ever, right after R&C RA was said to be the best looking game ever seen a month ago.
And the ps5 has a duelsense controller that has multiple NEW features and a NEW 3D audio with the NEW Tempest engine. It also had added effects like the newer water and particle effects that the ps4 version can barely use in cutscenes, while it will be on full effect the entire time on the ps5. We kinda already knew this but I'm glad they grew in size and are confirmed to make another astros game instead of just rumored to be doing so. It does suck a Japan studio got shuttered, but maybe Sony knows more than us and possibly are investing somewhere else in Japan. Who knows.
Astros playroom was absolutely amazing though. I can't wait for a fully fledged game.

The ps3 had an entirely different architecture and it was a big hurdle to make the games cross Gen. You gotta realize the ps2 was actually revolutionary and was made for games to be fully 3D. I'm the same way. I played it on launch and for some reason only a few hours in I just didn't want to play it anymore. Like a year or so later I redownloaded it and loved it.
