They bet on smaller studios and off the wall ideas to see how it goes. If it goes well and they think it's time, they throw an offer to buy them. Some studios take 4-5 games of doing this before they offer to buy.
Insomniac for instance has made like 20+ games for Sony before they were bought.
The problem is Sony has too many IP and they still have to create more. They need like 40 studios to continue the same old IP's and make new ones. They have what 13?
And what has Microsoft been doing? All of their regular studios have almost nothing to show. It's only because of the newly acquired zenimax that they have anything.
@king at this point his name is probably not Phil Spencer. Almost every thing he's said from the point he took over was a lie or mistruth or slander at Sony.
Seems like it's just a save transfer issue. It should be resolved sometime I'd hope. Even an Xbox guy on here said he's having trouble transferring the save file over.
Look at the pre show with Geoff, also look at square Enix's conference.
I think 10 or so PS exclusives were announced at E3, also like the amuckspider said, Sony has previously stated 25 exclusives are in development, and afterwords, hulst said there more games in addition with second and third parties.
I feel like the actual Microsoft developers that weren't just bought with zenimax did absolutely nothing but listen to speeches from Phil Spencer every day for 3 years and not work on games. They have like nothing to show but zenimax stuff that they just bought.
When has the last time game prices increased? It's been $60 since the 90s. Has gas doubled or tripled since then? Has everything but video game prices gone up since then? The answer is yes. Let's see, has production costs gone up since then. Since the 90s actual voice acting, motion capture, millions in advertisements, hiring good voice actors or actual actors. These things drive up cost, not the mention inflation itself makes the actual game cost more and there are the cost of hundre...
Because every game since the beginning of time has had bugs. Pushing th price up due to inflation doesn't magically make games less buggy.
I'm pretty sure MLB doesn't have the weight to force other games from Sony to go multiplat like insomniac games. Now, maybe Disney could try to force future spiderman games to be multiplat, but I doubt it because Indiana Jones is exclusive to Microsoft.
And I'm sure Sony had to trust Microsoft with pre-release consoles for deathloop and ghostwire Tokyo.
Guys this game was a CGI trailer, you can't hate on it too much until we see more of it.
I honestly believe they delayed the game twice on purpose. At least one of the delays I'm pretty sure was Microsofts decision. It's kinda weird how right after Microsoft announced they are buying Bethesda, it got delayed because Microsoft had 0 launch exclusives. Furthermore, they still had no exclusives and their competitor was launching games almost every month and right after Microsoft bought zenimax, like a week later the game got delayed again. I think the second time was Microso...
I mean their main competitor didn't show up and still managed to announce like 10 exclusives without even going.
Lmao like 5 games are exclusive and those can still be payed on pc. The rest are all timed exclusive, some are 3 months timed.
A few months ago Herman hulst said over 25 exclusive games are being developed for ps5 and coming in the next year. so 30 exclusives for series x, some being years away, won't matter.
Where have you guys been? People all over the world have been getting canceled and fired from their jobs just because they voted for or liked trump. This is the way things are in the world. One side is for freedom, and the other side is for control.
I'll go further. The FBI talked about putting every trump voter on a watch list a few months ago. This is the corruption of the US right now.
Does a rumor mean it's official?
They did everything over, voice acting, mo-cap, made a new game engine, redid every level and all the textures. New lighting, and much more. It's basically a completely different game, copying an older game. Not a remaster.
Decent. Let's see if they implement it and how it goes.
