Nice!
Why would Nintendo be changing their demographic because a third party releases an M-Rated game? Microsoft or Sony aren't changing their demographic just because they released Banjo or LBP. It only means they are expanding beyond their current demographic.
@ape007
Who's "They"? CNN? Why would anyone fear PS3? Isn't it supposed to be fun to play?
Fantastic!!! I can't wait!
Well, It's a budget title. I'm going to pick it up for the Achievements. Some of the other Onechanbara commercials/shorts are ever so slightly humorous.
At Least U.S. PS3 users got Super Street Fighter II HD Remix. European PS3 users are still waiting.
I honestly stopped clicking on the negative stories. It's always the same tired arguments, many times with the same people. If you don't click on the story or reply to them, they don't become featured stories and they go away.
One more month of negative stories for PS3, than KillZone 2 will come out and the media will be talking about how Xbox 360 doesn't have an answer for it. The only way Sony could screw things up is if they fail to plug it or if they delay it.
It's going to be ugly.
Pretty much, every site has the Xbox 360 version pegged for March 24th, 2009.

Unreal Tournament 3
Japanese Pride... It helped bring Sega Down. They need to let Sir Howard do what's best for the company. Don't worry, It's not their gaming division that's bringing them down, it's every other division. Though Sony looses money off each PS3, sales of PSP's and PS2's make up that money. So they break in even there. For those that want to support Sony, just buy their games. Those numbers count.
There is always the danger that 1st party games that are in development could get the a...
@Bubble Buddy
I think it's been well established that the PS3 is a fantastic deal in terms of what you get for your buck. I think it's one of the reasons Sony's struggling at the moment. A large percentage of a companies revenues is based on the sales of accessories. In the past, it would be a memory card, and an extra controller. Microsoft makes tons of extra money off of XBL, WiFi adapters, HDD, Battery PKs, etc... Where as Sony is giving away everything for free. It's great f...
Everyone see's things different. There's been a bombardment of negative PS3 articles ever since Black Friday. I think PS3 owners are very defensive right now. This article wasn't negative to me. It's very neutral as you've mentioned.
I think PS3 owners should be happy with their system despite it's treatment within the media and it's position in terms of user base. Sony isn't going to abandon the system. Third parties are still making games for it.
I have the RE5 demo for the Xbox 360 and I've been pleased with the progress of the game. I've never intended on getting a PS3 version even though I have that system. I am pleased that the Xbox 360 version is obviously superior based on these photo's; though we do have to wait for the final builds.
KillZone 2 might be all that but it's not like PS3 owners are going to buy it. We heard the same things about LBP and R2 but PS3 owners didn't reward Sony with good sales.
@Blasphemy
It's been recently estimated that Sony is loosing $50 per Playstation 3. You want Sony to drop the PS3 another $100 and loose $150 per system? That would mean for every 1 million units they'd sell, they'd loose $150,000,000. That would probably kill Sony faster than you could shake a stick at.
Dead Rising was by all means, one of my favorite Xbox 360 games. I'm proud that I got all 1000 achievements. I hope this comes to Playstation 3 because it's a game everyone needs to experience.
@Nathan Drake
Yet another wait and see comment. This is the Playstation 3's third Christmas and the Xbox 360's forth. How many more years must we hear "Wait and See"?
Hey! That's my Box Art! Or at least is looks similar to the fan made box art I made for N4G.

Look at that, 74 days ago!
I'd made a PS3 rendition too.

Well, the system doesn't need to be saved. Are the PS3 exclusives enough to change it's position in the market? Not at this point, only a price drop will change it's position. However, the exclusives are enough to please those that already own a PS3.
