The arcade architecture for Tekken 6 is based on the Playstation 3 hardware. The Playstation 3 rendition of Tekken 6 wasn't dumbed down for the Xbox 360. There's isn't anything in the article or the internet to support that idea. If Namco could do better with the PS3 hardware, they would have. The port over to the Xbox 360 is a fantastic port. I had the opportunity to play both at E3 and both versions are great. No matter what system you have, if you're a Tekken fan, you'll be happy.
The rest of the world belongs to Nintendo.
I don't know if I'd be happy with just a port. You could run the original in Progressive scan and wide screen. I think this bad boy needs a remake. Although... I'm be more than willing to accept a port that runs at 60fps in 1080p. Shadow Of The Colossus is timeless.
Why not top 5? Why not put Lost Odyssey in there?
The graphics for Resident Evil: DC look outstanding for the Wii. However,it's a friken light gun game, on tracks. Why not make a real resident evil with the type of resources you're pouring into this game?!
It's not as though no one saw this coming. I mean, the Playstation 3 always gets 360 hand me downs with extras for the wait.
Seems like he conveniently excluded Lair, Haze and Heavenly Sword to boost PS3's score.
Actually, I think it's officially been called, Episodic content.
They will indeed. The Lost and the Damned had 12 hours worth of game play. If the Ballad of Gay Tony has the same, 24 hours of game play at $39.95 is a steal.
Looks good I'm excited over the episode set. I'll be getting the disc version. Hopefully it will contain 1000 achievement points.
I wouldn't rule out this content coming to Playstation 3 because stranger things have happened. However, 50 million dollars is a lot of money for a timed exclusive. Especially considering that it probably only cost 10 million total to develope.
It's an attractive box.
I too bought a PS3 at launch. Since than, my home was burglarized. Now I have the standard 80 gig system. My original system had a smaller hard drive but had full backward compatibility. That in itself was worth the purchase. I wish I still had it.
This makes the PS3 a far better deal than the Xbox 360. With no WiFi, and Blu-Ray Player the Xbox 360 Elite isn't such a great deal at $299. Microsoft better answer back soon if they want to keep their 2nd place position.
How about this! He and his team simply don't enjoy working on Playstation 3. Did that just blow your mind.
Keep working hard Microsoft. I'm having a blast with the Summer of Arcade.
Recently, I saw Wal-Mart selling Blu-Ray Players for $98. That was the most expensive piece of the PS3. I wouldn't be surprised if PS3 dropped to $299 this Christmas Season.
What would Microsoft do? If Sony dropped PS3 to $299. Microsoft would drop the Xbox 360 Pro to $249 and the Arcade to $179. A win, win for consumers.
And Nintendo? I think a price drop for the Wii is in order. We are going to see Wii at $199 this Christmas.
During the PSone and PS2 era, I feel as though Sony became complacent. Because of Sony's current position in the market place, I believe we are seeing the best and most 1st party software from Sony.
I get tired of reading fanboy crap too (both sides have them). So I don't read what they have to say. Who wants to read the rants of an idiot? The best thing to do is ignore them. When you respond (to idiot fanboy extremists), you fuel their efforts.
ultimolu, If Sony hadn't entered the market, we would still be playing the same great games. Nintendo and Sega were the pioneers. Without Sony, we'd still have Rock Star, Activision, Team Ico, Naughty Dog, EA, Capcom, etc... Sony didn't give birth to any of those companies.
However, Sony can be credited for ushering in an era where video games as a medium is bigger than that of the movie industry. Sony made video games more mass marketable. Prior to Playstation, video games were ...
It's a great time to be a gamer. This is the golden age of gaming. It doesn't matter what system you have. I can't wait for Forza 3.
