The PS3 demo is coming out but on a disc from what I heard. I think in a few weeks.
Just got it now... WOOOO HOOOOO!
I'm sure that the two PS3 owners that bought Mirror's Edge might consider buying the DLC.
It's selling better because this is the third Tomb Raider game released on Xbox 360, it's the first Tomb Raider game on PS3. For Xbox 360 users, there are way too many other chooses. Some that include, Left 4 Dead and Gears of War 2.
Not exactly, Microsoft paid $50 million for 2 DownLoad Packs. This is just one. I believe the investment is to get general users and casual gamers used to buying DLC off of XBL. There's a bigger investment here.
The expansion is clearly for those that loved GTAIV want to experience more of Liberty City. If you're a Playstation 3 owner whinnying about how GTAIV sucked, this expansion is most defiantly not for you.
If you're a PS3 user that is concern about the effect this DLC might have on the PS3, if the majority of people agree that the game sucked, you have nothing to worry about. I bought the game and played it a little. It was OK. I wouldn't pay for DLC. Microsoft would be better off...
I'm shocked by this news.
Way back in the day, I was a big SEGA Fan. I couldn't afford to buy all the systems. I could only afford a hand full of games a year. So I owned only a Sega Saturn. It was a hard time for me as a gamer because Sony had similar practices. They payed for games to be exclusive to Playstation. I'll uses Mortal Kombat 3 and Tomb Raider 2 as an example of this. It was important for Sony to do this to get their foot in the door.
I was pretty much forced to break down and buy a Playstati...
I can't claim to know the details each company makes with third parties. Sony got exclusive BioShock and Mirror Edge DLC. Microsoft got exclusive GTAIV and Tomb Raider Underworld content. Sony also has exclusive deals with NCSoft. It's just business. As gamers we should just enjoy their fruit and I intend to. It's a mistake to pledge loyalty to one system.
Sometimes Xbox 360 users get screwed because of deals, sometimes Playstation 3 users get screwed. You have to be happy with ...
We don't know why Capcom would chose Xbox 360 to release their Resident Evil 5 demo, but If Microsoft does have a hand in that, can you blame Microsoft for taking care of their users? Xbox 360 users support Microsoft because Microsoft supports them. Personally, I don't care what system the demo is on, I have both. I'm more interested in a domestic release of the demo seeing how it's only been mentioned for the Japanese market.
I like the tower. It's a better looking console than the current PS3 model.
The warranty is over for those that have had a working Xbox 360 for over 3 years. However, the warranty is 3 years from the time you've bought your system or 3 years from the time you received a repaired unit. No issues.
At this same time in the Playstation 2's life cycle, I'd already owned two systems due to disc read error. Only, Sony didn't give me a 3 year warranty for my unit/s. I had to buy them.
We'll, just replace Too Human with Lost Odyssey and it will fix that all up.
Well, It would be nice if gamers rewarded a good game with good sales. It's not a lot to ask.
@TheDesperate
It might happen. However, Square Enix hasn't made any announcements regarding a Playstation 3 port of Star Ocean 4. For the mean time, it's Xbox 360 exclusive. If I were a PS3 fanboy, I wouldn't pin much hope on Square Enix. They have yet to release a single Playstation 3 game.
As for myself, the game looks fantastic. I'll be getting as soon as it's released on Xbox 360. I don't know how PS3 owners can wait an extra year for 360 hand me downs.
@Bathyj
The Hardware to software ratio indicates other wise. The Xbox 360 has a high software to hardware tie-in ratio. It's higher than both Wii and Playstation 3. That wouldn't be the case if the average user bought 4 Xbox 360 systems. If it makes you feel better, you can pretend that's the case.
It's funny, I had money set aside for Little Big Planet. I had it pre-ordered. When it didn't come out, I ended up spending the money on other games. I'm still plenty occupied with the games I bought. I'm still not sure when I'll pick up Little Big Planet. However, I'm very happy with Fable II.
@sonarus
N4G can be pretty extreme sometimes. It's always been obvious that you're a Playstation extremist. However, you've usually had something intelligent to say. So I respected you to a degree. This is the first time I've read you say something retarded. I don't think Microsoft shipped enough units of Gears of War 2. After I got out of school, I failed to find a single copy in town. I haven't gotten a copy of GOW2 because it's sold out.
Do you seriously think Gea...
The Japanese market is in a poor state as far as video games go. With the exception of Capcom, their developers have fallen behind Western Developers; probably because they spend most of their time developing games for the portables. The Japanese are missing out on the best generation in video game history. We are in the golden age of gaming.
They Killed off Jill Valentine? Those Bastards.
