There's a huge difference between the way 30 and 60 frames looks. And no, sometimes I won't enjoy a game if it's running at a poor frame rate. Bayonetta on PS3 ran at 30 fps. Simply because the Xbox 360 version ran at 60 fps made it a much better experience (visually). And yes, the human eye is capable of telling the difference. I and everyone in the media can tell the difference. You can't! So don't make stupid accusations.
As for the other comments. I h...
To me, there's kind of been a standard with Hack N' Slash games and that standard is that those games run at 60 fps. God of War 1 and 2 ran at 60 fps (On PS2). Devil May Cry games ran at 60 FPS. Dante's Inferno runs at 60 fps. Beyonetta Runs at 60 fps (On Xbox 360). Ninja Gaiden games run at 60 fps. I can actually list many more. However, The GOD OF WAR III demo wasn't doing much and it was only running at around 24 fps. If they don't get the final build of GOWIII running at 60 fps, I'll be d...
Well, Best Buy was giving it away with the PS3 during Black Friday. So I'm sure that helped too.
I fully expected the Playstation 3 to out sell the Xbox 360. Heck, PS3 did well. But I'm amazed as to how well the Xbox 360 performed. REALLY, everyone should be happy about these sales figures.
@vhero
I do have both systems. However, I value Achievements more than Trophies. Which is why I intend on getting the Xbox 360 version. As for Swapping discs, I've never had an issue with it in the first place, especially with a game that's supposed to be 50 hours. I guess if it bothers me that much, I could just install all 3 discs on my Xbox 360 Hard Drive.
Easy answer, if you don't like it after 17 hours. Don't play it. Clean yourself up, brush your teeth and get a girlfriend.
No issues
Except that Frogger (complete with updated visuals) was available on XBLA from day one. It's just 5 years late on Playstation 3 and Wii.
It's an easy article to write when you don't include all the games that came out for Xbox 360 in 2009. I notice he listed the PSN game Fat Princess but failed to mention any Xbox Market Place or XBLA games. Here's a few he might have forgotten:
Shadow Complex
The Maw
R-Type Dimentions
GTA: The Lost and the Damned
Death Tank
SEGA Arcade Games (There were a bunch)
The RARE games such as Banjo
Splosion Man
These are just arcade ...
My Xbox 360 isn't noisy. However, I'm sure that are those that have first generation Xbox 360 system. If that's the case, Xbox users have optional install as well. Problem solved.
From what I understand, Microsoft is going to offer a Platinum Membership in the future. It isn't a replacement for of the Gold Membership.
However, the difference will be that Platinum Members will have 100% access to all Xbox 360 MMOs. It will cost more than what Gold members pay. I know that Microsoft hasn't hammered out the details nor made an official announcement.

I watched a friend play it on Xbox 360 and there was no issues.
That was stupid. Spend $300 to entertain the two people out there that thinks this is funny.
I just checked and there's a 2.0 update for Lemmings. I checked it just a month ago and there's was no update. This must have just happened. None the less, it give me reason to go and play it now. Cheers
I didn't say that Nintendo and Sega were the pioneers. Only that Sony wasn't. However, If I were going to go back that far, I'd still give sega some credit because they started sometime after WWII. They were known as Service Gaming and helped pioneer the Arcade. Although it all started off with pinball machines and shooting the wooden duck games.
I want trophies for Lemmings and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1.
When Playstation One hit the market, many Nintendo and Sega fans switched loyalty for what many considered the better hardware and software. If funny how when the tide turns, Fan boy extremists cry foul.
One piece of advice. If you're going to be loyal, be loyal to the software makers, no matter what piece of hardware they decide to put their software on.
I don't think Xbox 360 users are hurting for games. I believe at last count, Xbox 360 has more games than Playstation 3.
There are currently 720 games on Xbox 360 (exclusive: 118; multiplatform: 528; console exclusive: 74)
There are currently 557 on Playstation 3 (exclusive: 159; non exclusive: 395; console exclusive: 9; trophy support: 224; no trophy support: 231; eventual trophy support: 2)
This list is from Wikipedia.
It will be interesting. When the first 4 games in the GT series came out, there's was no competition or anything to compare them too. We know that when GT5 comes out, it will be directly compared to Forza 3.
The Headline should read: Mass Effect 2 on PS3
