I'm usually one to hate on the Wii, I'll admit it. But, I find Super Mario Galaxy 2 absolutely delightful, and really beautiful. It doesn't need to be in HD to be pretty, and I def don't need true co-op on it. I'm doing fine just playing through by myself. Plus, I frown upon achievement whores. I can enjoy games without achievements, they just add replay value for me, but I'm not too worried about wanting to replay this game..

I wouldn't mind clas...

I was going to be snarky towards you, but then I read the doofus's comment above yours. So, my b.

Alan Wake really wasn't that great, and I definitely forgot about it for years til they finally brought it up again at last years E3. But, I agree, if it had been amazing, I don't think RDR would have slowed it down.

I mean, my 360 brethren.. I don't have all that much faith in their taste. & I was one of the people that actually bought Alan...

I don't agree. I have a PS3 and a 360. I did buy Alan Wake, but I definitely regret it. I know Heavy Rain did well on the PS3, and that had both high and low reviews.. But.. Heavy Rain is a masterpiece. I loved it. I bought a Ps3 just for Heavy Rain, honestly. and LBP.. but whatever. Alan Wake does not deserve to be compared to Heavy Rain..

I don't know. I just don't see Alan Wake doing that well on either console. I would not have given it a very good review, an...

It's a suspense action thriller, yes? I'm a huge chicken, and I didn't get any thrills until the end.. I mean. They gave you a big slow motion warning when the taken were sneaking up behind you. Just so you know, you don't get startled or anything.. during a thriller game..

Plus, I thought the story was good, but Alan Wake wasn't believable. He didn't notice for a second the change with his stalker fan? and he honestly thought when Barry asked him to ...

They have the ability to be wrong. I think they were wrong to include the characters that they did in L4D2. Apart from Coach and Ellis, they were ridic bland. Rochelle says nothing funny other than "Axe me a question, I dare you." which gets old after hearing it 3490298 times, and Nick is just Blandy McBlanderson. Plus, def wrong to kill ....someone in The Passing.

See? I don't think Valve is infallible. I'm still a fangirl though, I'll admit it. :] I&#...

Wrong, sir. You also want Portal 2. & LA Noire. & Fallout New Vegas. & Dead Rising 2 =P Assuming you aren't getting those for your PS3 (other than Portal)

My reserve list at GameStop is kind of ridic atm. It also has LBP2 and I have to reserve Crackdown 2, I always forget that's coming out ridic soon..

there's a lot of diversity within the FPS genre. L4D has one of the only true co-op experiences this generation, while Fallout 3 is one of the best RPGs I've ever played. Call of Duty WAW.. I treat it as Nazi Zombies: The Game, and that's also special and different than other shooters I've played, and Mirror's Edge was also completely unique platformer/FPS.. and Portal is a FPS of sorts, and Portal is orgasmic. Lovelovelove. & Bioshock/System Shock 2.

I bought Alan Wake, beat it, traded it back in within 2 weeks. It really wasn't that great of a game, I thought it would be more scary. I'm the biggest chicken ever, couldn't even get through Condemned, and Alan Wake didn't scare me more than a couple times. There were 0 jumpy parts, because they were nice enough to let you know whenever someone was coming at you from behind. You know, just to make sure you aren't startled. During a horror game. ....Sigh. The story was pre...

Valve always delivers.... unless you're waiting for episode 3. But, I'm sure it'll be something amazing, that I'll love. Because it's Valve.

I wouldn't want that specifically. But, I would love a Lego game to take on the horror genre. Or Zombies.. Like Shaun of the Dead.. or Zombieland..

Or you could like have a Lego Pitch Black.. and you get to be a little lego riddick.. awee. <3

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom involved torture, ritualistic heart pulling out, and child slavery. & The others had also had torture, and nazis.... and they all had murder.. Seriously, Halo is more kid friendly. There's no child slavery, there's no torture. Just killing baddies down..

I mean, I don't even really consider Halo M-rated. It's really just another one of those 3 part stories of hope. Nothing really makes it un-kid friendly other than the ...

that either care very much for their fans. They both do good things, they both do questionable things. I doubt that they factor in their diehard fans into each equation. But.. I don't know. I like Sony this generation, but some of the things they do make it so I can't fully stand behind them caring ohsomuch more than M$.. Maybe a bit though.

I personally consider Braid and Ratchet and Clank cartoony..

Anyways, though, I really don't understand the argument against what he is saying. He's just saying he would rather have cartoony, pretty games than generic games with the only colors being brown, dirt brown, grey, and black. He didn't say one thing suggesting he believes every game on the 360 and PS3 are generic or uncolorful.

So, I just don't understand. Enlighten me to your thou...

Sure, Snake is alright. But, he sneaks.

Kratos does not sneak. Kratos goes in with his blades of chaos (a very badass name for a weapon) and kills GODS. not just tanks, or helicopters, or random bad guys. He kills gods. plural. and uses one's head for a damn flashlight. Chuck Norris would fear Kratos.

Plus, Kratos isn't really the good guy. Which means he's even more badass. He's still God of War's hero.. he's just. not very good.

Anti-hero just means extra badass. Kratos should have been number one.

I love campy horror movies. Love them.

So, I can recommend Deadly Premonition on the so bad it's flippin AMAZING premise. Because, well, it is. It's laugh-out-loud funny, scary, and completely insane. It's well worth the $20. If it were priced at the regular $60 price point, I wouldn't recommend it. But it's only $20 to experience the most campy game I have ever played. Pure awesomeness.

So there, you could have just read my original comm...

Sure, the auto-targeting sucked, the story wasn't very good, the valkyrie junk was also annoying, and I hate that Dennis Dyack guy. He makes me absolutely sure I could never be a reviewer. My review would have been "I HATE DYACK. TOO HUMAN GETS A 2.3 OUT OF 10."

But, regardless, I only played the demo at my house, but my friend took the plunge and bought it. So I stole his controller and played it for a while. The targeting really did suck, but the quick combat...

The graphics aren't the best because it's a budget game. Starting at $20, this game is a steal with 16+hours of gameplay.

I love games/movies like this, because the developers are in on the joke. It's so ridic campy and it falls into my favorite kind of horror movie - So Bad it's Good. It's laugh out loud funny, and you can't tell if the guy has an imaginary friend or split personalities when he talks to his friend that no one has ever seen... Oh geez,...

I'm not. & I bought a PS3 just for Heavy Rain and LBP. I mean, sure, I'm going to play other games on it, I already have been.. But, I bought the PS3 just because I loved Indigo Prophecy, and was super hyped up on Heavy Rain..

& the first play through of Heavy Rain is an experience I won't forget. I felt so connected to Ethan, and played it like I thought that Ethan would.. My ending wasn't perfect, but it was amazingly moving, and I even teared up a l...
