I think this guy is kind of off base. I don't think they can compare their "app" way of thinking to actual games that cost $60. A $60 game should not require constant updates, you should get $60 worth of stuff that's not broken and buggy, on the disk. There are a few exceptions, like Bethesda games, but they do update their games, without charging, and it's fine, and you get hundreds of hours of playtime from both Fallout & Elder Scrolls.

The GameStop I work at had over 50 preorders, and sooo many people came in.
PC is a lot more open of a platform, and there's a bigger community for indie games that aren't lumped in a shitty "indie games" section that is hard to find the gems from the awfulness. & M$ should really have some filter of some sort..
It's true, the indie marketplace is something that I kind of avoid. I have one game from it. There's just so much crap on there.

I can see what you're saying. I'm all for the exclusivity of first of first party games, I agree each console has their mascots.
But, I'm still not completely on board for 3rd party exclusives.
I wanted the This is Vegas game to come out, it sounded really interesting.
I dunno who that Modern Warfare reject is on the cover, but the rest of the screens are absolutely amazing looking, and it definitely reminds me of the Prey I love. <3

Duke Nukem is all about satire. No one should be offended, they should just take it how it is. Over the top and hilarious.
This article really isn't necessary. We all know there's sexism in how women are portrayed in a bunch of games, but they're not really done the same way as in Duke Nukem. Because, Duke Nukem takes the over the top action hero machismo and runs with it and pushes it to ridiculous degrees. Namely, satire.

I can see why Fox News would be up in arms over Duke Nukem, they literally don't comprehend satire.
However, they've cried wolf so many times, and the world is still around, and the children haven't gone on mass murdering sprees, so I doubt many people actually think of Fox as credible on this subject. Plus, they never actually end up changing .. anything. They just give the video games that they hate free publicity.
