I've tried a few games on NXE and so far only Fable 2 has seen major improvement. Gears, I actually had MORE glitches when installed for some reason. Some games are just optimized for the disk so not all of them will benefit from the install.

The reasons to choose the iPhone are pretty lame and seem like they put no effort whatsoever.

1) It's now second generation? So, just because there are two of them that's a reason? Lame.
2) Built in memory. Wouldn't exactly call that a reason seeing as how you're limited to that memory. With the Storm you can buy whatever card you want, including the just recently released 16gb and the upcoming 32gb and have way more memory.
4) Full QWERTY keyboard: Sorry, but the Sto...

of whether or not this is Sony's "mario" so to speak, the fact that a Nintendo site is writing about a game that's exclusive to another system speaks for itself. If it's not such a big deal, why are you taking the time to write about it?

late october to december is a pretty epic time for gaming this year. Over 20+ solid titles released, plus several exclusives each console. I've all ready estimated that I've spent maybe $500 so far in the past month and a half and it's not going to stop until december with Last Remnant and Prince of Persia. Crazy.

Maybe I'm just not as into the game as I was hoping, but I downloaded the demo right when it was released and I was seriously disappointed. The game felt more like a long "mini-game" more than a full game and in a lot of ways felt like a game you'd expect to see on Xbox and not Xbox 360. I deleted the demo after a few hours of playing it and scratch it off my list of "games to buy". Disappointment.

Only game I want to see the results for is Fable 2. That game even has menu lag and it's pretty annoying. The rest of the library doesn't bother me so much.

For those that are bringing up the whole PS3 vs. 360 you first need to STFU. But, what I will say, is that despite which side of the fence you fall on, MS has a problem with installs as they still only offer a measly 120GB OVERPRICED HDD. Now, you figure the average game is going be be between 5-8GB. You're going to fill that...

the one about levels having a single object in the middle I'm sure is actually trophy related since u get a trophy for creating a level and another trophy that I don't think everyone can get for "being one of the first 10 to publish a level" so I'm sure a ton of people just made something cheap to aim for the extra trophy.

Some people will choose to blame the devs and say they did a lazy port and some will say it's the console. Ready for this? It's neither.

The problem is Sony. Obviously, it's not the console as PS3 delivers amazing games just as well as the 360 does and we still have yet to really see any game besides MGS4 and Gears of War top the graphics chart for either machine. It's also not the devs (in most cases) because most of them are trying. Aside from EA and Activision, most haven'...

What Sony is saying is that the issue is HARDWARE related and that they have no plans to release a SOFTWARE patch. You know why? Because obviously if it's a hardware issue, then a software patch wouldn't fix it. So, more than likely they will start issuing updating PSP (much like everyone does with their products) that won't have the problems and anyone that has an affected sku will be able to have it replaced under warranty. Make sense people?

Idiots I tell ya.

Apparently either only select Wal-Mart stores are doing this and/or because he got there at midnight they hadn't caught wind of the recall.

Just went to my local Walmart and sure enough it was out on display and they opened the cabinet to sell me the game, when they tried to scan the game their system wouldn't let them and it told them to remove all copies from display.

So my question is: can Sony somehow punish gamers that they see are playing the game early since it's not suppose to be out yet? Or, for example, couldn't they just not activate the LBP online servers for the time being so you could only play on your PS3 until the 28th?

All things considered, GOTY is typically a game that does something fresh or is exciting in some new ways. Fable is an awesome franchise, but Fable 2 isn't reinventing anything; it's just expanding on an all ready great idea. Fallout 3 is pretty awesome, but dunno I don't see it being GOTY and MGS4 is sweet as well, but the fact that it's more experience than game I think will keep it from the title. In all honesty, I see GOTY going to LBP by most places. It's fresh, it's new, it works and ...

...for the simple reason that it will never happen because it CAN'T ever happen. Since Blu-Ray was introduced into the PS3 at launch, all developers have been programming their games with that in mind. All games use PS3 disks. You can't just change the formula up in the middle of the console's life. So, a PS3 without blu-ray will never happen.

So is this for Qore or the people that won their codes? Did Qore people utterly get screwed over here? It was suppose to be available late September and here we are mid October and still they aren't really saying anything about it.

Yea, Microsoft is totally leveling the playing field with a $2000 TV because certainly people that can't afford to buy a $400 console are going to spend $2000 on a tv just so they can have blu-ray and avoid the console. GENIOUS!

As a web developer, I store a quite a lot of data. In addition to having external hard drives, I have disks all over the place. I have a Blu-Ray burner on my current PC and I literally condensed a huge stack of CD's and DVD backups to about 3 50gb Blu-Ray disks. Seeing as how Apple has a huge audience of web developers, outside of movies Blu-Ray has huge advantages for storage. They target the multimedia market, which typically has a lot of stuff to save, so it would make a lot of sense for t...

It will happen eventually, but not yet. His claim about iTunes being awesome for HD video shows how dillusional he is cause iTunes library for HD stuff is pretty weak and pathetic and don't even get me started on Apple TV. There are very few things that Apple does wrong, but those two are definitely the biggest. He definitely wants digital distribution to take off and is hoping that his iTunes will do it for him, but it's inevitable that they will do it. Apple has close ties with Pixar (for o...
