Camp casters aren't that usefull since patch 7 though. For most things, the caster needs to remain in the party.

The ragdolling only happens if you fly against a wall, which in my opinnion makes all the sense in the world. When jumping succesfully, there's no fall damage.

It has a bit of a steep learning curve, but once you get the hang of the basics it becomes easier to figure the rest out. That said I'm still discovering new things after 500h. Don't feel bad about making mistakes at 30h, and don't hesitate playing on easier difficulties while learning things.

And don't let the "article" fool you. Most classes have the potential to be the best, there is no definitive or objective best in the game. Sure, like any g...

The only places I've seen anything about this game has been some random people streaming it on tiktok, and they all sound like those weird mobile game ads on youtube.

I can't say I know what their current methods are, but assuming their reviews are done by individual people, I think they should move to do their reviews in groups. Have 4-5 people play a game, write a short review, come together and discuss and write a more extensive review based on mupltiple perspectives.

Being critical does not meant toxicity, you are right, but there is valid criticism and then there is the toxicity I refer to.
The toxicity I'm talking about is people like Star Wars Theory who only seems to be making shock-value videos where he goes on rants because Star Wars today isn't the same as his precious nostalgia tinted vision, so he starts hate campaigns.
Toxicity is when people are claiming that characters like Kay are "uglified".

True, but I think AC might have already built the kind of fanbase that will buy every entry they spit out, kinda like people who play fifa or CoD.

The average AC fan however, is not necessarily go for a Star Wars game though, and on the flipside Star Wars fans that aren't into AC might have the outsiders perspective of what Ubisoft quality is and are more careful. Obviously there is some overlap between the fanbases, but it's hard to say, not sure there's any d...

So Ghost of Yotei is milking the series... but making a new Sly Cooper or Infamous isn't?

I think people are throwing around the word spin-off without really knowing what it means. As far as I know, or maybe this is just my interpretation, but a spin-off is something that features someone who was already introduced in a main entry.

So in my mind, Ghost of Yotei is it's own standalone entry in an anthology. Whereas a Ghost of Tsushima spin-off would be if we got something like a game, novel, comic or series focusing on Yuna, Kenji, Tomoe or some other charac...

In my opinion, and from what I've seen, it failed (failed being a bit of a strong word perhaps) mostly because of Ubisoft rushing to get it out. Like with so many Ubisoft games in the past, it released full of bugs and glitches. But I also think their pricing was a big problem. I get that the 70€ is starting to be more or lase the baseline these days, but 110€ for the full experience (Season pass) is absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention 130€ if you want some cosmetics on top of it. Ooor ...

I think it got a bit of an unfair and loud treatment by the toxic side of the fandom. Don't get me wrong, there was a lot of valid and needed criticism on technical aspects and the pricing model, and I fully agree on those. However, there is a completely ridiculous hate campaign on anything modern Star Wars, run by a few Star Wars "experts" on youtube and reddit. This is happening in most fandoms, but it's especially visible in Star Wars communities. These grifters are exrem...

Provide some source of all these Japanese players saying this maybe?
It's not like Ghost of Tsushima was historically accurate either. SP straight up explained that it's not a historically accurate game, it's inspired by samurai movies. Locations and some events might be based on history, but otherwise it's a fictional story.

People need to realize that Jin's story was finished, completed. There was never going to be a GoT 2, if I remember correctly SP even confirmed this.

@DreadfulHero: But that's not the point Extermin8tor3_ was making though.
That said, yeah, I agreee that the more options we have the better. That does not give people the excuse to bash on this added feature. I personally think they could have been more inclusive with body shapes and sizes in general, but I do understand some options are limited by gameplay mechanics and animations.
And to answer a few of your examples:

So other scars, wear & tear and signs of aging are perfectly acceptable, but an additional feature that gives more ways for people to feel seen and included is where you draw the line?
