I bought Dreams in the early access. I just have been so dang busy I haven't even booted it up. But I know once I do I'm going to get stuck in it for a long time creating the game I have been planning since Project Spark... but that creator tool was way too limited.

I have a feeling we will definitely see Ninja Theory's and Playgrounds new games. I have a feeling The Initiative is working on something BIG will take a while to develop. Phil did say he doesn't want to announce things too early anymore as well, so we will see.
Well, they already confirmed we will see what Ninja Theory is working on. I have a feeling we will see Playground Games new game they have been teasing for the last couple years. But yeah unless Obsidian and InXile have had side teams working on another IP alongside their current 3rd party ones then I don't see anything from them. I think it's too early for Undead Labs to announce a new State of Decay, same with Compulsion, but maybe these two will announce new expansions or DLC for S...
It's also the 4th most common birth defect in the US so in a world ravaged by radiation and such and with mutant breeding it only makes sense the problem would get worse.

Absolutely agree that Halo 5 has a very mediocre campaign, but it also has co-op, and a full suite of MP features that did very well which help counter balance a mediocre campaign.
Well would you rather them cut their losses and then sell you a Sea of Thieves 2 with all these updates? Or just keep updating this one?

But no actual numbers? There hasn't really been any other big game launching next to it besides MK11 which has been getting bad sales due to some controversy. I'm not saying Days Gone isn't selling well, I think it will track right along with Horizon which did very well. Just wondering if we have gotten an actual figure.
Yeah really interested to see what they do story wise with her connections to the Locust Queen and shit.
Why? Because Gears of War is fun, one of the best 3rd person cover shooters on the market, and some of the best MP experiences I've had.
What story beat are you waiting on? Well Kait finds out that the Locust Queen (Queen of the monster enemies if you're unfamiliar with the name) is her grandmother. So I'm waiting to see how that plays out, will Kait become the new Queen? Will she turn her back on the Gears? Etc.

Or Sony has such a massive and loyal fanbase that they will buy a new game from them just on principle and overall track record.
Have we seen any numbers in the west? Good sales for Japan doesn't really mean too much to the entire scheme of things. I think as of right now Sony's best selling game in Japan is Horizon and that was only 116K... Taking Japanese sales as a good sign isn't always accurate considering GoW only sold 46k in Japan its first week, and we know that it hit like 5mil in its first week worldwide. Conversely, Horizon with the largest sales in Japan only hit 2.6mil in under 2 weeks.
I know you jest, and it's purely coincidental, but I did have that issue with my launch PS4 where the system kept spitting out my disc.
