My thoughts exactly. I played it for a little bit for the novelty of the destruction, but with no progression there was no reason to come back. They also need to add more maps and a party system also. But at this point I'm not sure many people play the MP anyway.
That MP vanity and extra boosts stuff should have been in launch. Having 0 progression for an MP game will make it stale quicker especially if the gameplay isnt fantastic.
Keys to the City was always fun to have in the past Crackdown games. Should add some extra fun to its sandbox
A handful of those aren't first party.

Ori, gears tactics, gears pop, battletoads aren't being developed by 1st party studios. Wasteland 3 and Outer Worlds would be weird to boast about considering...
Yes and its a hazmat tag simulator. Dont get tagged or some of your UPS packages will fall out!
I have a feeling it will come out 3 months or so before PS5, then it will get a full 4k/60fps port with additional graphics enhancements when the PS5 launches.
Basically exactly what the first game did.
Same here. Also, I'm not exactly sold on the gameplay. Still a lot of walking around doing nothing, and then a random hazmat tag game where packages come flying out of you while you're hit... The story and everything looks really cool and interesting. Graphics are top notch as well as the acting and facial capture. But I don't want to get over hyped just yet.
If it's true, I shiver at the thought of the visual and framerate downgrades.
I imagine the first time you run into the griffon in that field and he is flying above you. The switch is going to drop to 300p and 10fps Haha
And what? Is there going to be like 2 people in town and they pop in and out at like 10ft?
I really hope we see more advanced AI, better physics (which will seriously help in VR as well), better draw distances etc.
It's all marketing. They'd still be able to use "The Most Powerful Console Ever Built" marketing even if it is negligible.
@Ziggur
That doesnt explain why it was there in the first place. You're telling me Capcom accidentally added a flair only to the ps4 version?
How was it a capcom thing when it was only on one platform? I doubt capcom went through the trouble to add that extra lense flair on only one of the platforms for no reason.
Also, wasn't the flair only patched out in the USA and still exists in the UK copies? That to me makes it clear it wasn't just Capcom.
If there has been a new update that states otherwise I haven't seen it. Perhaps I'm missing something.
I dont even think those games will have nudity anyway. Did TLoU have any nudity?
Why would there be that extra lense flair in that scene if Sonys policies didnt dictate so? I doubt Capcom made the extra effort to add that lense flair on only one platform on accident. Perhaps after further review Sony okayed the removal, but it still happened and I certainly don't blame Capcom for it because there is no way it was just an accident on one platform.
And what if Witcher 3 came out with these new Sony regulations? There was a lot of sex and nudity. Are y...
"We've already implemented a ratings system (to restrict players by age) and have been taking measures based on our own standards," Yoshida said.
Yes we know you're already adding extra censorship for the kids, and now you're going to treat your gamers as addicts?
Keep pumping out those great games though so I can become addicted to them. What are they going to do to combat it? Auto shut off the console after 5 hours and tell you to ...
Violence has always been judged on a different level for some reason.
Well of course I'm going to use it, it's a mechanic in the game. That's like saying you dont need to stealth attack in Sekiro. Sure it will make it harder, but why wouldn't use the tools the game gives you?
They just need to balance Sloth better.
@cyber
Yes, that's just a religious reason to hate or reject someone's life decisions based on some rediculious book that has no place in today's culture. Damning someone just because they believe to be the other sex is just dumb.
Yeah, Nioh had a weird difficulty curve. I feel like the hardest boss was Warrior of the West and he was the first main boss Haha
Everything after him was pretty easy. For a "souls" style game I beat a lot of the bosses on my first try. As you leveled up and got more scrolls and talismans and shit it just got easier. The sloth talisman was game over easy.
I still loved the game though and I can't wait for the sequel.
But isn't Detroit coming out on PC soon?
I'm assuming you mean Xbox 1 X hasn't beaten PS4 visuals in the first party department, right? Because it it routinely trounces the Pro on every 3rd party.
Also, MS hasn't really had any games lately that focus on realism like Sony does besides Forza I guess. But it will be interesting to compare these upcoming games. Sony and their devs have a very good feel for the hardware and know how to squeeze the power out of it. Sony has a very distinct look and quality ...
