Does this mean MS is going to put Master Chief Collection on the Epic store or what?
Lol so a game having co-op and free content updates now makes it GaaS? and it hardly has a heavy focus on MP, it has an option for co-op, but you're not forced online or anything.
What is GaaS about State of Decay 2?
Oh good, I have been wanting more Medievil info!
For me they feel like 2 different enough games. In one you build bases, manage a ton of resources not only for you, but for your base and settlement. You can find and drive many types of cars and upgrade them.
Days gone on the other hand offers a much more typical AAA game with more of a Far Cry type world with more of a story and character focus. It has resources to manage, but in a much more streamlined way.
@darkborn
Wait... did you just say that no one has said the mechanics are bad or that it's buggy? Are you being serious right now? Almost every review said that, even the ones giving it a higher score have mentioned some sort of mechanics or bug issue.
The review definitely isnt giving it a 4.5/5, but it is strange that a 4.5/10 is given when the article gave no score.
I mean, you have every right to your opinion, but dang if what you said is a pretty controversial one Haha
Yep, it just doesnt make any damn sense.
Well you also have to understand that reviewers didnt get the best patched version to play. You're on the latest patched version which fixed a lot of issues the reviewers would have experienced. Regardless, you only gave it 1 point over its meta score so it doesn't seem like a big disparity there anyway...
So let me get this straight. If Days Gone got 9's and 10's launching in the buggy state it was in when they reviewed it. Also ignoring poor gameplay decisions, annoying mechanics, poorly paced story etc (everything it was criticized for)...
Would that be better? As it stands, Days Gone is at a 7. Its not a bad game, but its certainly not a God of War or TLoU or Uncharted game. And besides the very few biased people, I think we can agree on that. 7 isnt a bad score. ...
Hey baby, you ready for this Deek?
You're right, it's not Fallout 76, that's why it scored in the 7's and not the 5's. What exactly was your point here?
The sarcasm here is on point
It's fine if you and others like it. Doesn't change the fact that its sitting at a 7. You can feel its underrated, but I dont feel like it is personally. It's a very middle of the road game. It's not bad, certainly no 5 or 6, but it doesnt really excel in any particular area.
I haven't gotten very far tbf, but right now it's not gripping me and wanting me to come back. I keep coming back because I want it to get better. I haven't run into any cra...
Just couldnt help but throw in a Days Gone defense on a game that has nothing to do with it, huh? Haha
It's like you people are constantly trying to convince yourself and other people to not listen to the reviews. The reviews are spot on with a 7/10, it's not a bad game, it's not a great game. If you enjoy it then just enjoy it. It's been a week now, just get over it lol
Say what you will about MS buying up studios, but at least they aren't ripping the current games from those devs off the shelves from other platforms.
I dont understand what Epic has to gain from removing such a massive potential player base. Are Rocket League sales and demand still so high that they thought they will still see the same numbers after taking it off Steam?
I wonder if Days Gone will get re-reviews after all its patches to get bugs out. Although, Daily Star already gave it a 10 so they don't really need to.
I'm surprised we haven't gotten one of these for mortal kombat 11 yet. Seems like we get an article about how late or worse looking ports are the best only because of portability.
It would be a large margin
