"stranding is an important sign of renal inflammation or of acute obstruction." Is this the plague everyone is dying from? Death from renal inflammation or obstruction?
But there has been a ton of these photo's and plenty of trailers. I doubt you can play AC Odyssey or something else open world and take this many photos and trailers and not see an animal or random NPC roaming about or flying around etc.
Yeah after talking about it more with other people it definitely seems there is an actual reason, and it makes much more sense why we haven't seen random wildlife or even wandering groups or something out more.
Yeah I think it will be fun for a bit, not sure if it will have lasting appeal like Horde, but with the level builder and if they keep expanding those tools it could be something the series can really build from moving forward as well.
On the same note it is a bit of a bummer that we aren't going to have to navigate wildlife predators on the journey though.
Lol I honestly never even noticed the whales until you just said that haha if that's an indicator that all wildlife is dead then okay it seems to be narratively driven and if that's the case then I'm fine with that.
I didnt realize there was a massive catastrophe. If that's the reason and it's part of the narrative that most livings things are dead then I'm okay with that.
@sprinterboy
If there is a reason narratively for it like an asteroid then I'm totally okay with that. I'm just actually wondering why we never see anything living and if that's the cause then that's fine.
If it's like the Scottish shoreline then where are the sea birds and such? Plains have animals, plus I dont think this game is going for being geologically accurate or whatever haha
Just an honest question. It plays into me wanting to know more.
That's kinda what I was thinking. Especially with that weird time rain stuff
I'm all for beautiful landscapes, but how come in all of these screenshots we never see any wildlife, humans, creatures, settlements, buildings etc.? Is he purposefully taking pictures all the time that have absolutely nothing around him?
@IR
Okay so they may have had some design concepts in the works, but they put it on hold until better tech was available. It was never formerly announced as a thing and then cancelled though. I'm sure big tech and software companies like this have 100's of different things they conceptualize to see if it's viable.
Every company has to end up closing development studios and games at some point. Scalebound was a failure on both sides, and again, that was a deal made before Spencer was in full control... in fact a lot of what you're stating were things and promises made before Spencer was in full control. VR was never even in production for an Xbox. Features, services, and such all go through phases and if they aren't viable they get cut. That's part of business. Super Duper Graphics update wo...
That's all these recent screenshots have been lol him just sitting around
I can't imagine Obsidian would stop making PoE games. They are fantastic and a type of game that isn't typically a first party studio game that could really expand their library.
I mean, unless this game has a very serious cliff hangar story, what's wrong with playing this one and enjoying it thoroughly if it's a complete experience?
This is why I own all consoles.
Also, it's not up to MS to keep The Outer Worlds on or off PS4 or Switch, they aren't publishing the game. They are specifically talking about the future of the IP and any of its sequels or spin offs which they will have rights to. MS owns Obsidian, but they have no control over this first game for right now since another company is publishing the title.
Obsidian with a budget and income they don't have to stress about could be huge. They already make amazing RPG's with their limited budget. Hopefully MS just lets them do their thing and don't force any ideas or features on them.
That's true, but you can say that is another benefit of having your game on GP... overall exposure to those ON GP and those who are just browsing. Regardless it's additional advertising and getting your game in front of people.
