He always says that haha
After reading the article I think they referring to the studios they just recently bought. They'll basically saying, yes, we are launching these games as previously planned on all announced platforms, but moving forward dont expect them to be day and date launched on multiple platforms.
Old ports like Ori and cuphead etc. May still come to nintendo at some point since they like their partnership... just dont expect Ori 2 to launch on Switch.
So you're saying we shouldnt ask questions and just blindly follow? I get Kojima is revered as a god here, but we were duped with MGSV and somehow that got 10's from critics and I'd assume most actual players would never give that game a 10. There is a difference between showing too much, and showing a little of everything the games about to grab hype from all players. Right now I personally think he is showing off too much story and character moments.
Fair enough. But the mystery is kind of being ruined with showing every characters intro cutscenes. If you want mystery then I'd say Kojima needs to stop showing off every character and maybe focus on showing us less important things.
Apparently you missed the gamescom trailers
@Srhalo
Kojima has never made a bad game? Uhhh MGSV says helloooo
But at least CD Projekt Red has shown off great looking gameplay for their upcoming epic game... while Kojima has shown us UPS tag, Peeing, cradling a baby with motion controls, and an extension ladder.
The actual quote from Layden didn't even mention MP games... I'm not sure where the writer got this information because it wasn't from Layden's quote.
Nowhere in this article did they quote Layden saying "Particularly MP games".. how about you quote what Layden actually said which did not single out MP.
So they added that from... what? Because Layden's quote didn't have that in it. Nowhere in the article did they have a quote from him saying "particularly multiplayer".. this is just the writers editorializing what he wants it to mean.
Game looks awesome... Unfortunately the guy playing is a bit annoying and not very good at the game.
Yeah the game deserves 5's and 6's... outlets giving it good scores is crazy to me.
@Unspoken
@Silly gameAr
Didn't we just get an article saying that Sony is looking to put some of their games on additional platforms? I think the industry is moving forward in a different way and closed off platforms are sort of going bye bye. We are seeing more platforms, we are seeing streaming going to multiple devices, we are seeing more and more crossplay... Yes I still think a platform needs games that define them, but the old ways of completely closed of...
What are you talking about? Rushing it? When have I ever said I want him to rush Death Stranding? My thing is he is showing off a lot of the characters and story, rather than showing us an actual gameplay reveal. Gameplay reveals dont need to be full of story spoilers, but all these trailers showing the characters intros IS spoiling things.
It's only a big deal because no one points it out and pretends like Sony has never done GaaS before. They constantly defend GT, yet condemn any other game that has a GaaS model. People need to realize that GaaS is not an inherently bad business model, it just needs a dedicated team behind it to ensure it does receive plenty of post launch support.
All depends on the game and the model tbh. If it's a GaaS model for a MP game then I'm okay with the commitment to providing a scheduled release of content. It also typically means there are MT's, but the content itself is free to play unless you want to drop money on cosmetics.
Dont worry your sweet little heart, I own a Switch, and I enjoy my Switch. I just find it funny how much praise it gets for getting years old ports like it's some game changer. Playing Witcher 3 on the Switch seems like the worst platform to play it on.
But dont most people here have super computers and therefore wouldn't need a console anymore if now they can play all these games on a better platform
You're right, that is the bottom lie.
Lots of walking. Apparently walking from east to west connecting settlements as you go.
