But that means there would be a lot of work involved and they can't just rework most of their animations and assets.
Death Threats, emails are getting thousands of spam messages, so much shit. This could legitimately really hurt E3 moving forward. Will companies trust them? Will outlets bother sending people? Will there be lawsuits because of this that will effect their ability to put a show on like this especially if sponsors and other companies back out?
For launch Xbox One they'll have to scale it back a lot since they confirmed they want to do splitscreen co-op. Maybe their new Slipspace engine allows them a lot of scaling tools to help them since now they have to hit launch X1, X1X, Scarlet, and PC
There is actually less content and no graphical or animation upgrade to this one. There are some decent tweaks that are welcome, but no where near enough for a $60 title.
Well I'm glad I held off then if true. Either way I'll likely buy it on its next cheap sale.
You sure? It all depends on how amazing it looks when we actually get a full gameplay reveal. Despite Halo 5 being lackluster story wise, the Halo IP still has a lot of appeal and a solid entry could absolutely pull people back. Also I highly doubt it will ONLY be Halo launching or at the launch window. We will for sure have Forza 9 which had a longer development to fully rework it systems, we will likely see Playground Games RPG within the first 3-6 months of launch. Probably Ninja Theories ...
I'm okay with subs as long as the pricing models are fair for the games you get. If I can play all of Ubisofts games for $100 a year then I'd save a bunch of money. Division 2, Watchdogs 3, Assassins Creed, Ghost Recon and whatever other little things they make for $100 would be great. These types of games I dont really care about "owning" anyway so if I beat them before unsubbing then I could easily get my monies worth.
@tekiz
That doesnt change the fact of the hardware and value. That only means people aren't interested in mid gen upgrades. The next Xbox and PS for around $500 will surely still outperform any PC setup you could buy and build yourself.
It all depends on what these companies pay them for this service. If you have a fairly niche game that is selling for $30 and would only sell at the max 100k... if MS says they'll pay you money per subscriber downloads etc it could end up being more money for them.
Believe it or not, there are a TON of gamers who either dont like PC gaming or dont have the funds to buy/build one that can 4k-ish game like a $500 xbox can do. For those that do have a capable PC, then it's great to have the extra option to play the Xbox games that you care for on that platform.
"The issue with this however is with everything I've seen from Gears of War 5, they've hardly focused much on the story/single player, I've just seen the online content constantly."
I see it as they dont want to ruin too much of the story. We have the general premise and some rough plot points, but they did say this is the biggest campaign they have ever made. They caught flak for showing off too much of Gears 4 before release, so I think they are tryi...
Actually they took out a lot in this version, the animations are still bad and stiff, features that were taken out years ago still haven't made a come back. The new mode replaces the story mode, but you can only be a QB and go through college and the combine and such.
All the other things feel the same and all they really added new was star power where stars can now become even better than regular players and unlock additional skills if they're doing well. Even more...
@King
Nope, I would never expect it to perform like the more powerful consoles. But before we go giving praise and call it a "feat" for a 9th generation console to run a not even very demanding game visually, we should see just how much they had to scale back and what performance hit it will take.
There is nothing impressive about a game being downgraded so much to fit a 9th generation console lol it's okay, at least Switch is getting some ...
Lets just see how bad it looks and plays before we start bragging haha
That is only in the one Arcade mode. Don't worry
Gridlock is just a classic map. Gears 4's new maps were kinda hit and miss, but hopefully Gears 5 can pick it up. I like that they are adding back in environmental dangers to maps, but they need better quality from the jump.
They are so similar I don't blame you for fixing them together haha
Not sure why you're getting downvotes haha MS own Mojang, not Mahjong. They do publish their own type of mahjong for windows but that is it.
Owning Mahjong would be like saying you own poker or something.
Mojang created Minecraft Mahjong is something co.pletely different.
tbf Chinese gamers love grinding
