But for the most part... Phantom Pains open world structure was kind of bad. The world itself was empty, settlements all were similar, and that kind of structure also lent to the extremely repetitive mission design of reusing the same settlements for multiple missions.
I was not impressed with MGSV's open world.
@rob
You know why nobody knows about national mens day? Because it was only a thing from 1992, its younger than I am, and nobody even acknowledges it lol it even went away for a few years until it relaunched in '99.
Where is testicular or prostate cancer awareness month actually acknowledged as well? Come October everyone is wearing pink, but where is the same recognition for the purple ribbon in April?
"Breast cancer received...
I have no issue with this as long as the same people praising this wouldn't bitch about a publisher using only male streamers to promote their next game that has a male lead.
Well, if your publisher is demanding insane revenue goals then that is basically forcing devs to add in additional monetization techniques. Whether that is from MT's or possibly cut content to sell for an additional season pass purchase.
Just don't miss gender the robots in the game
I was juuust about to post the same thing Haha
Okay then I absolutely agree Haha risks can pay off
@spicy
You can label me whatever you want but I still can't help notice you dodged the question lol
Or at the very least finish MGSV...
The difference is we have now seen multiple long gameplay walkthroughs of Cyberpunk, while we have only gotten very small and vague showings of DS... and the recent "gameplay" trailer was such a troll trailer.
So youd rather get a meh wierd game then a good game in a series you like? I'm not sure I believe that
For what its worth... MGS never had super smooth looking animations either.
That's a pretty bold statement since you dont even know how DS will turn out. I hope that was just a backlash comment.
Maybe I'm ignorant, but what about Death Stranding is new, different, and innovative? As far as weirdness of the story, it doesnt seem anymore outlandish then some of the MGS characters. Open world exploration? Fetch and literal delivery quests? Heavy story and cinematics? I guess using magical extension ladders as an exploration mechanic is kind of new, but wouldn't a mountain climbing kit and free climb just be easier?
Apparently the way he is implementing online ...
@Unspoken
Maybe? But in today's world I'm not surprised at all that people only read headlines and then make assumptions.
It is the alpha, but for we know what resolution they are using for the Pro? Is it 4k checkerboard or just straight 1080p 60fps?
And it has a much more intimate level of competitiveness where you can really get into some intense matches and do a bit of trash talking since it's just 2v2. Really enjoying it
Every gun feels the same? Lol what? These are some of the best feeling guns. Each gun has a different recoil and everything.
The levels are small, but they are design to be that way for this 2v2 mode.
I cant confirm on the engine, but the grounded artstyle is refreshing from today's super flamboyant designs in most games and the animations are much improved.
I don't blame anyone for feeling let down in a way. When you think of a sequel it should really improve AND expand upon the original and it didnt quite hit that mark.
Also I think the first reviewed better because it was the first, no one really expected much, and it was just an Xbox Arcade game at the time. The sequel comes around and this time MS is hyping it up more, people expect more, but they didn't get that and I think that's what led to a lower scored g...
It's not sexist to promote a female lead using female streamers...
