Yeah or some forced online thing where you'll randomly get pulled through to help someone like the dimensions did in Spiderverse.
I mean... isnt that kinda like every game that has joinable co-op where you then join someone on a similar quest? I guess we have to wait for more, but it just seems like Kojimas wacky way of talking about jump in/jump out co-op or a shared world co-op where you might run into someone on a similar quest.
You have the right to believe what you want, but you're basically telling me to just have faith in Kojima. Which was a bit shaken after MGSV and what we HAVE seen so far of the gameplay. You can be interested in a game and still be worried about the final product.
It's all about infiltrating the same locations over and over lol it got so boring.
You know what other stealth game did it better? Just about any other MGS game, chaos theories, dishonored series, Deus Ex, Thief, Hitman...
I mean come on, you can have all the options in the world, but if your missions just repeat on the same map or settlement over and over then it gets boring really fast. Having a massive amount of options doesnt make your gameplay g...
I'll probably continue so until I see gameplay that is worthwhile.
Lol if you honestly feel that then I'm not sure you live in reality. Bad enemy vision cones, predictable enemy patterns, enemies dont even try and reverse cqc... plus this is Ground Zero which was infinitely better than the actual full game because it didnt have such a boring empty world, unfinished story, repeated settlements etc.
Yes, the amount of freedom and options the gameplay offers is fantastic, but to say MGSV is gameplay perfection is nonsense.
If that's what we are to be excited about then I guess I'm just not feeling it. Plus, if the baby is a power source of sorts that connects us to the other side then it's really lame there will be instances we have to sooth it and shit.
Narratively speaking I'll say this game is unique, but gameplay wise I'm not so sure about that.
"unique gameplay"
What unique gameplay?
Good for them, I respect the decision. What I don't respect is Epic saying they can't even launch on their service WITHOUT an exclusive deal. That is messed up. So basically they are boasting this bigger cut to help indies earn more money, but the only way to get that is to accept their bribe...
That is a dirty move. I'll support this dev. And to top it off as a thank you to all the people who supported his decision and bought the game, he is giving out free DLC...
@Neutral
Thanks for the link, I must have missed that. So they basically gave them an option whether to continue with the next Halo or take on Gears and it looks like we know which decision the devs made haha.
Isn't that giving them freedom? It doesn't seem like they were forced to do so.
As for the other info, there is a lot of insider info that is wrong, but I'll take your word for it since I don't mind seeing all thes...
Is there any proof Coalition was working on a new IP? All we saw was a cinematic trailer tech test...
Is there any proof to your Insomniac claims?
Is there any proof of Bluepoint refusing MS?
Also, all the studios that they have acquired made videos stating what was agreed on between them and MS and they all universally mention that MS wants to give them full freedom to develop without the strains of money and equipment. So unless you...
Because much like the Fortnite championship and the rest of the sports world... Women just can't keep up.
Also file this under "who gives a flying f".
And Control oozes atmosphere... not sure what this guy was playing.
Oh it got repetitive and boring wayyy before 100 hours... you repeat the same damn bases multiple times just in chapter 2.
Yeahhh I'm not one to say games are overrated, but there is no way in hell MGSV is a 93. Bland open world, bad unfinished story, terrible online component, repetitive mission structure... how can you give that a 9 or higher? That's craziness and the absolute proof that Kojima gets preferential bias.
Indeed. Also the fact that the story was bad, and not even finished... I cant understand how it got such high scores.
Yes, hence why I keep stating my hesitation about the game. I'm absolutely intrigued by the story, but I keep wanting to see more gameplay because of these reasons. MGSV, while it had some great and varied options on how to attack missions, got very boring and repetitive.
Plus, I don't think DS is even going to offer the same amount of gameplay options as MGSV did... but yeah, hopefully the gameplay reveal at TGS gets rid of these worries.
@RpgSama
Yeah I like that system a lot. You can leave notes and ladders for people to help out (or deceive), and if you want to pull someone into your game you put out a linking tether or something that another player can then link to and come to your world.
