I would have my jaw drop if it was 299 (same as it did when Vita was announced at 249) but I would be happy if it was released at 349.
I suspect that the Console manufacturers will always only release games that are just for their system. This should be reason enough to pick up more than one console.
I think a lot of focus is shifting from exclusive games to exclusive content and features.
For example, you may buy cod3 on the 360 for its exclusive dlc. Or LA Noir on PS3 for the exclusive mission. Much cheaper than funding an entirely exclusive game. Also it seems to have the same general effect.

They aren't in custody though. They were released without bail pending further charges. The main reason they were brought in btw, was for charges about hacking the Spain government. They suspect they were also responsible for Sony and a few other hacks, but not charged with it yet.

If you have a company and you want the best security possible, wouldn't you want to make sure it has no holes? I think what Cliff was stating before is, the industry needs to learn to work with legit "hackers". The ones you can talk with and hire to point out all the holes in your system so that it can be fixed. Not the ones going around doing whatever the f they want. Carmack, is a genius. Read the biography about him. This is what he does. The only thing. He pretty much codes entire engines himself. His mind thinks like a computer. Though his social skills definitely are lacking.
Saw Rage at pax. Best looking console game (graphically) I've seen bar none. Better than any PS3 exclusive. You have to see the game running in front of you to actually appreciate everything that is going on.

I expect the console to be no more than $299. People tend to forget that up until this gen, hardware has ALWAYS sold for a loss. Companies made the money back from software sales. Kind of like how printer companies lose money on printers but make it up with over priced ink.

It has the capability to output at 1080p but that is really up to the software. Developers can choose to render the game at a lower resolution in order to get more power from the system for other things, then upscale to 1080p. This is what is done a lot on the 360 and PS3.
