There are probably migration tools provided to the developer by crytek as in inattentive to switch to the new engine. The art assets and code would migrate pretty easy. Then they can take advantage of new tech effects and cross platform compatibility.
PS: The game looks bad anyways
Never thought about it but they could be announcing all the headliner games early because they don't want to steal from new console announcements. It is getting to be that time.
My wife and I watch a lot of Netflix stuff. We also both have Live accounts so if this was true, I would totally pick up a 2nd 360 for our bedroom upstairs. Especially if it had built in wireless (would hate to have to buy another wireless adapter). (my ps3 is downstairs with the 52' BRAVIA TV. Don't play any online games on the PS3 so there is no reason to get a second one of those...yet
This is probably THE reason it wasn't.
Xenogears: when will we see a real sequel or psn release????
The only two on there that I wish I had beaten were beyond good and evil and psychonauts.
lol. Love the comments from these discussions. As I've said in so many other articles, content gets cut all the time from games to make it better. Stuff that didn't have time to be polished, didn't feel right, didn't work. Nothing new.
I believe every GT game has been packaged with a PS at some point in time. There is nothing wrong with that nor should it be used as a negative point. The Forza 3 bullshots you are referring to are replay shots, that use higher res cars, better AA and more effects. The same is done in GT during its replays. Again, not to be used as a negative point. Also not saying Forza 3 looks just as good or better than GT5. I won't argue sales as I don't know the numbers nor do I care.

Speaking of cell processor. I was looking through the internal resources here at work and found some tidbits on the PowerXCell 32iv. It is in concept now but the planned revealing of it is in 2011. It features SW compatibility between current and next-gen Cell
100% backward compatible
Performance on PPE significantly better
Performance per SPE equal or better
– Significantly better on applications that benefit from new instructions
Better inter-SPE latency

I would love to help you put an obvious fan boy in his place (as I love doing) but in this case, the guy is right.

See the above article for more information. Reading about it does a lot more than just spouting "IT'S TRUE". You would benefit to remember that as well.
*wonder what happened to the professor after the latest firm-ware update was released....
While I get the point you are trying to make and agree with it to a certain degree, the example you gave is wrong when given with your reasoning. Final Fantasy did move to Sony's system because of storage benefits however this was due to the fact that you couldn't have multiple cartridge games. As the PSX, PS2, and 360 have shown, Square has no problem releasing a game that spans multiple disks. I can only assume that if there was a way to have multiple cartridges, Square may have stayed with...
IF I buy this, it will be after a price drop...whenever that is. I'm not too happy with activision as of lately.
Fine fine. I got some disagrees but I do want to make clear I wasn't trying to say anything bad about the system. To me, if a system has one great game it's worth the purchase. The ps3 has many. The best ones are it's first/ second party exclusives
Not a insult. After the super, nintendo fell into a rut of poor support of 3rd party exclusives. The only games(with exceptions of course) worth playing were nintendos first party games which only came out about twice a year leaving the system pretty unused most of the year.
Multi play games sold bad on the 64 and game cube because people bought them on the ps2. It was the more popular system at the time.
This hardly made nintendos systems bad because the exclusives were ...
Because like Nintendo fanboys of old, they are bored waiting for the next great Sony exclusive to come out since those are the only games worth playing on the system.
The people that really love gaming are busy playing all the great releases on all their systems and don't have time to troll the comments.
Im super excited about the detective aspect of the game. Finding clues to help solve the mystery. Clues in your note pad help open up different branching interrogation conversations.
pvp is what ruined the game. Make it separate from the core game. Then balancing the game for PVP and PVE becomes much easier. Because they balance for one, they ruin the other. A lot of PVP only people feel the same way when they get nerfed because of someone being overly powerful in PVE.
Read up on the story. Only two of those people were photographers. The rest of the group were insurgents with ak-47s and RPGs. The guy hiding behind the corner of the building actually had an rpg and had fired his ak-47 before the video had started. What would you have done when you are called in to investigate the discharge of a weapon (they don't fly around looking for these things, they get called in) and you see a guy with an RPG pointing right at you?
When you think a person with an RPG is pointing it at your helicopter and is about to shoot you but you can't shoot until you get permission from someone who isn't even there, I would be screaming, let me shoot too.
The attack on the van was justified. They had a group of soldiers coming in to access the scene. The guys who were grabbing the wounded man were also grabbing the gun he had by him as well. In this incident, 2 journalist and 2 children were injured. Those two journalist were walking with armed insurgents, one who had fired his weapons previously and was carrying a RPG (which was a direct threat to the chopper). The people who drove up to get the guy and the guns were not civilians either. Why...
Shadow Hearts 2, one of the most overlooked great games of the PS2 generation.
