@FriedGoat
Funny thing about consoles, they don't just play exclusives.....
Yes.
The article says it's based on the 6000 series card that just came out that supports dx11, 1080p out, 3d out, etc etc.
@Daone
You can remove your cc info from your account, even without the system. Just like with any situation where someones cc gets stolen, your first prio should be to contact the bank so they cancel it and refund any charges that you didn't authorize. At some point you have to start blaming the people, not the company (this is one of the only situations I'll say that).
If someone had their account stolen/ hacked, then left the card uncanceled and let the thief charge ...
Exactly, most of these people use the same email and password for their live accounts as they do everything else. Fifa appearing on the recently played games list is really no surprise. It's one of the biggest selling games in the world. Also the people who are buying these accounts tend to be in Europe where the game is even bigger.
It's like announcing that 90% of every car stolen had the radio listened to by the thief. You wouldn't assume they are all linked by a secur...
It's more of a difference of a thief breaking in your window and you giving the thief the keys to your house along with security key codes.
These accounts are getting hacked because at some point in time, the customer unknowingly gave out their info (account id and password) to the hacker. This is normally done by the hacker creating a site/ emails that look like they were sent by Microsoft. Microsoft's servers weren't hacked or compromised so there is little they...
possible that the dlc will expand on the ending, not warranting a third game?
Not like with 360. You can transfer accounts extremely easy between 360s especially with the remote account feature that came out with the last update. Game licenses are transferable to. Pretty simple, just go onto the site and tell it to transfer licenses. It then tells you to log in on the console you want to transfer them to. Boom done.
Artists have no control over bug fixes. Majority of the people that are needed to make DLC have no control over bug fixes. The majority of the bugs that need fixing have no impact on DLC (as it's an engine issue and would apply to DLC also).
No reason they can't be working on DLC while the team of coders works on fixing the bugs.
People in Japan really liked the game. They were asking for a sequel. Like most Japanese companies, they were addressing/ listening to the people that live in the country they are based in.
It's a new game. No one here has played it yet. Judge it for it's own merits. If you want to do a wait and see, do it. I've seen enough to peak my interest and I'll be buying it. There is literally no reason to hate on a game that hasn't come out yet. It's just a ga...
Epic started a internal project where they allowed their employees to submit game ideas. They picked the top 3 they liked and have been working on them. One has already been put on hold/ dropped. The other two look good. The reveal will be one of the new ips that have arose from this project.
It's a lot different than what Epic normally does so it should be interesting to show.
was it used or something?
RAM issue is fixable if the code is installed to the HD and not streamed off the BluRay. If it's locked to the BluRay, It could be set in stone.
You paid 50$ for the game?
So, there are multiple assets for the same 3d models and textures on those models. Many engines use a streaming method that lowers the detail on items not close to the character. The closer you get to an object/ land mass, it streams in a higher and higher quality texture/ model until its using the premium asset. Because of this, it's not uncommon to have 2 -3 of the same model/ texture, just with variant degrees of quality.
Depending on how they handled the caching, it is possib...
Sony said that they aren't planning to/ currently designed the 3g to be used for online play. Even 3g isn't as fast as what is needed for smooth online play.
It's primarily there for a feature check list and for people who want to browse the internet.
Pendulum Wars would be neat but again lacks Locust. That would be like having Halo with the Convenient or Killzone without the Helghast.
Gears 3 wraps everything up pretty nicely. There really isn't much more to tell.
Yep, sad that a company of a few hundred people needs to worry about paying those few hundred people and making sure they have a job to come to every day.
The awards are intended to be pretty low key. It's kind of a in industry event. Since it doesn't involve the say of consumers as all the votes are done with people in the industry, they don't try to push it as a big public event.
Everyone should watch Tim Sweeney's talk about future tech that he gave at the Dice summit.
