Nice Comparison, everything is doing better than last year, with the exception of PSP and PS2.
It shall be interesting how the comparison will be march or say April (when PS3 was lanuched in europe, obviously the first month won't compare as initial lanuch # in 07 will definitely better than this upcoming 08 numbers, but the coming months after shall be interesting to see how it grows...

Uncharted selling really well in europe, compared to it's American Cousins...Almost nearly 500 K in Europe/Other alone.

Maybe 1 week it'll outsell it by 70 or 80 K like this past christmas?
OR who's to say the 360 can't make a comeback and outsell PS3 for a few weeks.

Yeah cause PS3 out selling in the first week or 2nd week of jan. will equal the same out it out sells 360 in November or Dec. when historically game companies sell more console then, and in the month of jan and feb. they sell the least of any months.
This is will be a normal month for jan. Ps3 is on pace to sell nearly 235 K+ this month...
And 360 is about 200 K for Jan that's pretty good.

What's the point of using NPD numbers when they don't include Walmart numbers. Do you realize how many consoles alone sell in walmart across America? Surely in the 50K or above range in a month.
I wonder what kind of features they'll remove or scale down if they bring it on the consoles.

What are you talking about? This is VGCharts numbers, not NPD numbers, and where do you get 500 K outsold in a week number. 360 outsold PS3 in US (Alone) in 1 MONTH (Not 1 week) by 500 K, but PS3 makes that up and more in Europe and Japan.
I wonder what kind of gaming/pc rigs that Developer themselves used, and how much it cost.
WEll that depends if you count Wii in this comparison, then it doesn't hold true obviously.
Or any other consoles like DS, PSP, etc.
But Between the 2, sure currently it's looking that way.
