I'd say digital downloads for HD movies would take off, if we had the kind of intrastructure that they have over in Japan, i'm sure we'll get it, but not for the next few years atleast.

Yeah downloading is definitely a few years away, especially when your talking about at 720p being in 4-5 gig range, imagine a full 1080p picture, it'd likely be atleast in the 10-15 gig range for something double the picture sharpness and resolution, and that's not even talking about the sound.
Plus in my ISP puts a download a cap on monthly amounts.
