Well there you have it, The PS3 version of FF XIII i NA/Europe will be delayed till 360 version is finished. However they won't let PS3 version suffer to make things work on 360.
They appearently did a decent restock, especially bringing back the 80 gig MGS 4 model.
These are last week numbers, what does my bestbuy having these PS3 today, have to do with numbers from last week?
Ummm PS3 is outselling 360 in the other terrorits, so what do you mean worldwide shortages and usuallys sells between 50-60 K. IF 360 next week suddenly went to 10 K sales wouldn't you think it would be shortages or people just figuring 360 is not worth it anymore?
The guys who gets these "numbers" is reporting it was shortages, check what he says:

Appearently 40 gig models (Currently the only ones available) were in short supply, and the 80 gig MGS 4 models were reintroduced this week (With better supply) so expect PS3 to do better next weeks "reports".
It's easy, Europe was the driver for alot of EA sales on PS3 in Europe. They sell their games in Euro's/UK pounds, the american dollar is down, Euro's are up. Games like Fifa 09, UEFA Euro, Burnout sold well on both platforms, but definitely better on PS3 in Europe, than it did on 360.
That's GTA IV in Europe, where PS3 has better brand recognition. It's not overall.

It simple, the lead platform was a PS3, so they are more comfortable on it, and as result probably did all their work on PS3 Dev kit then will port it over to 360 (Which can lead to problems). Just as if 360 was the lead and ported over to PS3, there'd be problems, as we've seen in the past.
Another game that has PS3 as the lead platform is PRince Of Persia.
While 360 has Fallout 3 as 360 lead platform, it shall be interesting to see how these 2 respective games turn out...

I can see people trying not to approve this story this week, especially considering VGChartz numbers have 360 2x the PS3 sales.

Looks like according VGChartz, in Other region, MGS 4 should break 1 million sold next week or the week after.
Cause wii sports I believe is not bundled in Japan, it's bundled every where else but in Japan.

Hmm pretty low sales for UTIII just being released in Europe on 360 (I wonder how many days that represents).
Because MS paid for it to come out day and date. The only way they'd accept it coming out later is if there was some SIGNIFICANT content like an expansion pack for it come out later than PS3. So they can use it as selling point.
NO one wants to play a year old game without any extra content, no matter how good it is. (See Bioshock).
