sounds to me they were focusing too much on the non gaming aspects of home, like socializing, and other things like customizing your avatar, etc.
And Kaz came and told them to focus more on gaming side of things, like lanuching in out of games as group, and more gaming focus has delayed the lanuch.

You can't fully trsut npd numbers, i just like to know what their # represents when it comes to market share...As we know Famitus and media create represent about 2/3rd of the market, so 66%... I wonder what NPD is...

I don't think it's lack of trying, I don't think VGChartz has access or the kind of access of proffessional agencies. Just like proffessional Agencies like NPD, don't have access to Walmart, which is a big mover of games/consoles (As walmart won't share their data with 3rd parties, etc.). Does that mean NPD isn't trying either?
I don't think Chart Track or GfK publish official numbers that much, sometimes the guys at NeoGaf come up with some numbers that are from chart-track or GfK.
Usually Chart-track and GfK do publish like this game came #1, this game #2, etc. But not with the assoicated sales #.

They just get their data from Famitsu, and put their own spin on it, they get their japanese data like about a day ago, and input it so it looks close to this:

Well atleast 360 DID beat PS3 by 1000 or so units in USA. ;)
Blade you realize PS3 outsold 360 in months of jan and feb...Proven by NPD... So if VGchartz has been showing PS3 beating 360 the last 6 months, then atleast 2 of those months they were right.
Your right they could be seriously under-tracking PS3, maybe they out selling 360 by more than 30-40 K in all of europe weekly? Especially if PS3 since march last year, has is right behind 360 in total sales in Europe, or if you beleive Sony ahead of 360 already.
I'm surprised he hasn't brought out, well if PS3 outsold 360 by 50K, it'll take PS3 2 years or so, to fully pass 360 worldwide (Assuming 360 has a 5 million lead).
This seems to be only for the "Bundled" version and not the standalone models.
Biggest game? MGS 4? Do you think MGS 4 will sell more than GTA IV will or has on PS3?
Guarentee it's a fix for GTA IV freezing issues....sort of like the quick patch that came for Assassins Creed....

I'm with you there, loved Killer Instict, KI2 was alright, but not as good as the original in my mind.
They probably tried hard for 4 player co-op, but it either was too taxing on the system resources, or it'd have taken further dev time, or a combination...and the game has already had one of the longest production time in gaming, it's time to come out, and let the card lie as they fall.
