Strange it seems a few people were willing to spend the extra 10-20 bucks for a collector edition, generally this is what makes publishers/companies some extra dollars.

It's ending jan 3rd, Off by 45 K for 360 (+45K), and -25K for PS3. That's actually pretty good, your taking about an error report of 2-3%.

So yeah off by 45 K and 25K, thats like 2-3% error margin.
To put in prespective how big WKC 2nd weeks sales are:
DMC4 did 34,000 its 2nd week and MGS4 did 65,000 its second week.
And these are a few of the top games in PS3 lineups (in terms of sales in japan).
Nice comparison, so you say PS3 beats 360 by 50 k in 1 week, yet you compare what 360 beats PS3 in North America in 2 months.
You do realize if PS3 is beating 360 by roughly 50 K a week in japan, it's beating 360 by 400 K in japan in those same 2 months (sure it's not a million, but it's also not 50 k either.)
69 K may the biggest PS3 sales since MGS 4 lanuch. (Not 100% though) and possibly for all of 2008.
No... WKC sold roughly over 202 K first week, and this past week ending on Last sunday, it sold an additional 73 K according to Famitsu.
SO it's sold roughly 276 K in the first 2 weeks in japan.
Edit Since it came out on the 25th, it sold 276 K in 9 days...
Now before someone says this is VGChartz, it's not. They are just translating the japanese. It's Famitsu #'s for this past week.
I doubt they'll have any OS, they'll just let the consumer choose, like they did with PS3, and allowed any Linux OS be installed should they choose.
I think it's positive news with some hate thrown in, but it's saying 6 months later the game is sold out in certain areas of japan. How can this not be seen as positive....good news.
You do realize that Tales sold roughly about 100 K the first week (Total), and it's went on to sell around 150-160 K lifetime so far...and infact it's sold more in Japan (With it's small user base, roughly 700-800K total 360's in japan), than Tales has sold State side?

I highly doubt it'll sell another 300-400 K in the next 6 days or so, considering the low initial shipment numbers.
Probably 200-300 K by the end of Dec might be more realistic.
Considering that PS3 roughly sold 40 K with a new Gundam game (That sold 200 K+ in 1 week), maybe 40-50 K depending on how hype people were with this new release.

You do realize that PES 2009, sold about 200K-250K in a week, and this is what WKC did in 1 day, with a low shippment rate?
It'll likely outsell if the supply is there, every other PS3 title in it's first week other than MGS 4, DMC 4, and maybe GT: Prologue.

Reading reports, that apparently WKC has sold 76% of it's total shipment, and another one is needed by the weekend, or they'll be sellouts allover the place, rather than a few places.
But the initial shipment was lower than normal for a semi anticipated title.
Because there two different reporting agencies...One is from Famitsu, which is generally out first, and is a little bit less accurate (But realtively close), and the other is Media Create.

I doubt PS3 will be 100 K next week, maybe 50 k is more realistic, it's only been at 100K a few times (When MGS4 released).

One thing the can't be disputed is Sony/Ps3 marketing has been crappy especially for their "big" games. They don't have a collector edition but either way the best market the hell of this game.
